House is nicely decorated with great thought given to even the smallest guest needs. A very nice property close to the beach and a short drive downtown. That being said, within minutes of our arrival, I got an email saying I had to immediately pay an extra amount for a 2nd dog. (We had to bring the dog when sitter backed out at last minute back home and didn't have any option other than to bring her along.) Paying extra for an extra dog is totally fair; I have no problem with that. What bothers me is how the host was able to respond so soon after our arrival - whether they were using cameras or other such monitoring devices that were not announced in advance to guests. As a vacation rental host, I just received notice of a policy change that requires hosts to inform guests if they are being monitored electronically. Because I have my own rental properties, I appreciate the importance of keeping a property clean and maintaining honesty between renter and host. I also don't mind paying extra for the extra dog. It's a question of being transparent if there are cameras or monitoring devices on site. It's a minor point, but if instead of cameras, the host lives close enough to so carefully watch guests on arrival, it be a small thing to just come over and say hello, and then explain extra fee. This is Mississippi, after all, where hospitality rules.

House was brand new and spotless. Cleanest property we’ve ever been too. Would highly recommend! Close to the beach and restaurants.

Upon arrival of the property it was just as we imagined from the description and pictures online. It was stocked with great amenities and entertainment. The trip to the beach was a short walk where you could enjoy a stroll in the sand and the evening sunsets. We would recommend this property.

Great setup brand new feel

The house was absolutely immaculate and just perfect! The property is very spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a full kitchen. Such a quant spot for a long weekend getaway. Quick access to the beach and close to Main Street (but far enough away to be very serene). I would highly recommend the cottage!

This property was a perfect space for me, my husband, and pup. The house was very clean, well decorated/updated, and king-bed was super comfortable. The gated outdoor space was perfect for our small dog. The proximity of the property to the beach and downtown restaurants was ideal. Absolutely no complaints!

This house is so beautiful, the pics don't do it justice. My husband and I were only there for a long weekend, but it was perfect. The bed is comfy, the decor is outstanding, the kitchen is stocked with just enough utensils/cooking supplies, and the little fenced-in backyard was great for my dog. Plus, we were super close to the beach and to the downtown area with restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

We've traveled a lot and this has been one of the most positive experiences. This even trumps a stay at a suite in Manhattan. This home is so well thought out and tastefully decorated. As artsy people we especially appreciate the use of local artists throughout the home. Walking from Easy Street onto Ballentine Street to the beach was lovely. Several beautiful, well kept homes and gorgeous landscaping, not to mention opening up on a more quiet section of beach. We will be back for a little more of life on easy.
