Fab location extras such as washing up liquid and toilet rolls a bonus

Great location but parking quite difficult.

Quite dated property in need of some improvements.

Excellent location for being very central to lots of things in the area - less than 5 minutes to shops, Symonds Yat, Puzzlewood, Sculpture trail, and many other wonderful things that is the Forest of Dean. Plenty of space for 6 of us - good bedroom space, dining and living area, and beds (including sofa bed) were comfy Generally clean and tidy (although it could benefit from a thorough deep clean to get rid of sticky surfaces/glassware etc). Contact with Vicki was fantastic and very much appreciated all her quick responses.

Place was a little tired and needed an airing on arrival. Although it was generally clean and tidy, there was a musty smell to start (it did go after having a few windows open so not an issue). Appreciate the style of the cottage so wasn't bothered about the quirkiness of it (love an old cottage!) but just be aware there was a patch of flooring in the living room that had bulged up. Not a problem as it was all adults staying here but would worry about a toddler unsure on their feet with it. (Speaking of children and as a mam of a 2yr old, there were excellent provisions in the cottage for them if needed).
