Key available at entrance like usual.
We were travelling with a dog, room was on the second floor and extremely small. Booking was well in advance and we have stayed before in a much larger room that was more suitable for a large dog. As we arrived late on the ferry, there was no staff available to talk to, to have hopefully changed rooms.

The property was very convenient for an early morning ferry crossing.
The restaurant at the hotel was a welcome bonus as we had two very good meals.

The towels in the room were small, and although clean they were badly frayed.

.Food ok, room poor, decor needs updating and manager was very unhelpful. I would not recommend and we have located nicer places to stay in the same location with better accommodation, service and food for a similar price.

I arrived unwell the gentleman who wAs managing the desk treated me with curtesy did not rush me and carried my bag to my room.
He also remembered me.
The room was very clean my only criticism was that the douvet was too heavy and I slept on and off throwing it off.

Hotel is in a very convenient location for the ferry port and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The team were helpful with secure bike storage, even when we messed them around.

The room was quite basic, but it was clean and well equipped. We ate in the restaurant and had a good and reasonably priced meal

No water on arrival but fixed after 90 minutes. Bottled water should have been offered. Toilet so small we couldn't sit AND close the door.

It was within a few minutes' walk of the ferry, so easy to be there on time for the sailing.
Rather noisy throughout the night from the kitchen equipment outdoors. A room at the front of the hotel would have been less noisy, and cooler.
