The food in the main restaurant is not value for money. The buffet costs $35 a night per person not including drinks if you are not inclusive and the food is just okay. There was loud construction work occurring throughout the day beside the pool area , although this is likely due to it being low season

The breakfast was great and the location was amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Everything was excellent, I will definitely come back.

They have too many inflexible rules. You can’t walk out of restaurant with eats. You loose something you pay a crazy amount. The towels and bedding is also very old

Beach is beautiful, lovely for walks and snorkeling, views are amazing.

Breakfast was poor with exception of lovely pancakes and fresh eggs,the,rest was not fresh, lunch and dinner ok but defo not 5 star hotel level, since you charge 5star prices deliver 5star food . It is not babies friendly (below 2 years old), no food for the small ones, kids pool not covered. Many sustainability posters around the place about plastic in ocean, yet only small bottles of water (plastic) available in all inclusive option and big bottles with charge, bit hypocritical. 5% charge on card payments is a joke, what are we in 1960's? Plus $1 per person per day for the duration of the stay (including 14 months old baby), why this is not included in the price? Just charged at the end of the stay, of course with 5% card charge. I am not a cheapskate, but hate hidden add ons.

Definitely going back. Very friendly and helpful stuff. So nice beach area.

The fact that staff kept bothering us in the evening even if we had put out the ‘do not disturb’ sign. They did this 4 times during our stay. Next to that, they came several times in the morning in the room, even if it was already cleaned. Then there was the fungus in the shower that didnt make us feel comfortable to shower. We had to wear shoes inside the shower. There was no good wifi connection in the room. Check out is at 10 a.m., but if you are one minute late, you pay an extra 117 USD. The location is not optimal. If you don’t go on excursion, you will get bored as the sea is very wild after 3p.m. and there is nothing much to do in the neighbourhood. But the excursions they offer in the hotel are really expensive, whereas if you do it via someone who is not related to the hotel, you can bargain the price. And if you dont like centipedes, this hotel is not for you.

the people, the place, the atmosphere, the architecture, the gardens

It is easy to get to the hotel on the main road. The rooms and the hotel area were very nice and had a lot to offer (huge chess, pool table, tennis court, private botanic garden, massai village, some amazing pools etc.) Especially the beach area is perfect for any kind of relaxing or activities. There is always access for taking a swim in the sea due to a jetty. If you are a good swimmer you can also swim to a little reef behind the jetty to do some snorkeling. The breakfast was superb and we were offered an amazing variety we have not experienced before.

The service should be improved. They only let us check-in after asking several times. Also there was a cocktail on our bill we did neither drink nor order. Our friends that were staying with us at the same time had the same problem. Complicated process to get a beach towel via cards you have to hand over to the staff and a fee of 30 Dollars in case you lose one of these cards.The gym has seen better days and some equipment is no longer useable.

Beach is beautiful and the staff is friendly

Def. not a 5 Star Hotel!! We had worms in our toilet, at the day we arrived where everything should be cleaned, we had a cockroaches the next day and it kept on going! But the worst thing that happened is that after a dive, our boat capsized – no life west at the boat, no buoys nothing we could get help with – the captain of the sinking boat swam with an empty canister for help, where we were finally rescued (we and an other couple) by another boat after two hours holding on a sinking little boat what def was not made for those waves. So pls people what ever you do, pls inform yourself about the safety conditions on the boats. Needless to say that no one of the management approached to us to ask if we are ok and what happened. Thankfully nothing happened! But this Hotel is not going to see us again nor will be recommended. There are videos and pictures of the incident btw and of course no one reported an accident in this matter.

The resort was very large, plenty of nice areas. Breakfast selection was very good, the staff were fabulous. the fresh water pool was amazing, secluded on top with a beautiful view of the ocean.

Our room wasn't the best, there was a real issue with the TV/Remote and then the AC machine., not forgetting the shower drainage. We had to change rooms.
