The property was just as described. Beach was just on the other side of the street. There was an AC unit in the living room which i didnt even know about. There were fans in every room just as described. It might be hot in the day time but honestly we werent at the house very much during the day. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. You may hear roosters in the morning but it was.music to our ears. My daughters were trying their best to get pictures with them in the background.😆 I would do it all over again. This is a simple 3 bed 2 bath house set back from the coastal road. It shares the large lot with a house that looks of the same design. Overall, the house was very clean and well cared for. It had enough kitchen utensils, pots and pans and table settings for us to prepare meals. The mattresses were generally good. Sheets, pillows, and bedding were provided. A good washer and dryer work well. A charcoal grill was present along with charcoal and starter. Three or four boogie boards, beach chairs, googles and snorkels were also present. Bring your own fishing gear and fish right off the beach across the street. This is a beautiful rural setting with a great state park about a mile down the road. Grocery shopping is in the two large towns nearby. There is a little noise from the coastal road during the day but it is quiet at night. Like the rest of the islands, there are feral chickens everywhere including roosters who greet the sun hours before it rises. You will encounter them at just about any house you rent. The only escape would be a hotel in the city. We stayed for a week in January and did a lot of hiking in the mountains and less time at the beach.

Being right next to the beach it was so easy to wake up and watch the sunrise each morning. Plenty of space for the whole family.
