Sehr schönes Hotel. Freundliches Personal. Renovierte Zimmer.

Das Frühstück war nicht so gut. Rührei und Pancakes waren Halbfertigprodukte. Kein Käse, keine Wurst, keine Butter und auch der Flat White war schlecht.

The renevations to the notel are excellent, everything new and fresh and clean, comfortable bed, good shower, good internet, great location.

There was a distinct lack of furniture and fittings. There were no seats in the room, nowhere to sit except on the bed, nowhere to open your case except on the floor, no shelf or table for things except the coffe station which was pretty full of other things, the lamp on the bedside table was so enormous that nothing much fitted on there except a cup of tea. There was no shelf in the bathroom for your toiletries, you had to keep them in your case and open it crouched on the floor or haul the case onto the bed. The combined shampoo, conditioner and body wash was very awkwardly placed on the wall by the shower door so that it was very difficult to get your hand under the spout and the amount came out each time you pressed it would barely have filled a teaspoon, making it difficult to use for washing, especially long hair. Most newly done up hotels have a socket by the bed to charge your phone but It you had to pull the plug out on the light after dragging the bedside table out.

A lovely hotel for our 1 night stay. The room was spotless. We had dinner and breakfast in the breakfast which were both excellent.

The hotel is in a great location for restaurants/pubs in the town and the ferry. We had a balcony which was an added bonus which looked over the loch.

The doors were very rattly and therefore noisy.

The location was fabulous and the view from the room breathtaking. The room was large and welcoming, great to relax in. The food was fresh and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially a gentleman on the front desk named James. His customer skills were exceptional and he always seemed to be everywhere helping out where he could. James will go far.

Maybe the bar area could do with brightening up bit , little dark. Im sure its on their list of things to do as the rest of the hotel was recently updated to a good standard.
