If I were green, and my name was Scrooge, I'd selfishly refrain from writing a review (to keep my new vacay get-away a secret). But alas, neither me nor my thumbs are green. (See suffering foliage). As a customer, I rely on HONEST reviews, so here we go... We took our family to this home for Thanksgiving. Even though it was chilly (California standards) we still had a marvelous time, in and outdoors. The views around Lake Lanier are breathtaking. This home is very roomy, well kept, clean, comfortable and cozy. It is set in a quiet, treesy locale, but ALSO near major stores, restaurants etc. This home has all the bells and whistles & is definitely NOT your typical bland rental. You will feel HOME away from home. The owner makes you feel very welcomed, and even provided us welcome basket (of goodies & treats). Warm touches abound. I had a couple other requests that he was so kind and thoughtful to arrange. These positive vibes set the tone for our entire vacay. BUT, I was a little selfish and took the master for me and my husband (although we were also celebrating my mom's bday). I couldn't resist the huge spa like master bath and extra closet space. There are a lot of trees between this home and the lake, but you still get nice views (and nice nature walks). There is an upper deck w/bbq and lake view as well as a lower patio for entertaining &/or relaxation. You'll love waking to scenic views. If you prefer modern amenities, love entertaining, enjoy cleanliness and QUIET, this place will work for you. Downstairs is all BONUS! It's a cave haven (good place to stash the men, kids, or the young at heart). It was actually a hit with everyone. We loved that it had a tv, pool table, game table, separate kitchen nook, bed and bath. This level led to the lake and the boat dock. There is a lit path for evening strolls. Since it was chilly November, we kept our strolls in the mornings/afternoons. (If you have little kids or wanderers, be aware that there is easy access to water.) I believe you can rent the owner's boat. Don't quote me. The private boat dock is a double decker with awesome lake views. Make sure to take some bird chow for the family of swans that will greet you. If you love to boat, fish, swim or just relax. This place is for you. Just please don't book during my chosen week(s). :) That is all. Have fun!

Great house with wonderful views of the lake. The dock was very nice with plenty of chairs and even a grill. Inside the house we enjoyed the pool table and all of the rooms were nice size. The hot tub was awesome!! Had a great time and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at the lake over the 4th of July. The house is great for multiple families and the cove is great for swimming. The double decker dock is a plus and we were able to dock our boat in a covered slip. Paul was easy to work with and a great host.

This place was fantastic. We hosted a barbecue family lunch in this amazing lakehouse. It was a very comfortable stay. The amenities were great. The basement was great for the youngsters. The deck was huge which was perfect for grilling on a nice day out, and the boat dock with the party dock worked perfect for our boats along with more than enough room for everybody. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next summer.

Home was very clean plenty of room to spread out. The dock was nice and had rub rails which are always appreciated. Kids enjoyed fishing and we wake boarded and surfed all day. I've been coming to Lake Lanier off and on for 20+ years and this was the best place we've stayed at yet. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone. Especially family's with kids!

We rented this lovely home with two other families to enjoy Memorial Day weekend. The way the house is setup with two guest rooms on one wing, master on the other, and a large bedroom downstairs, you can separate from the other families a bit. The home is extremely well equipped and very comfortable.we found it to be plenty of space for 6 adults and 5 kids. It features a fully stocked kitchen, as well as an extra fridge downstairs, new carpet, new linens and towels and plenty of extra beach towels, which we found to be very helpful. The dock is amazing. We brought our boat and were able to leave it in the slip so it was very handy for wake boarding. This section of the lake was pretty quiet even on a holiday weekend and was just perfect for us. It's also a great dock and cove for swimming and the kids had a blast. We cannot wait to return! Thanks Paul for making our trip so easy!
