Was there a breakfast? Nobody told me.

Room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. My wife only slept in room for first of 6 nights, then moved to a friend’s house. No way to cancel pre paid room. It advertised as non smoking.

Never stayed! When I arrived was shocked with the condition of this hotel ! Was extremely dirty room . The window had clearly been broken into the screen in the window was damaged and ripped out and was damaged. The door to the room had a huge gap at least 2 in from the floor. Bathroom was very dirty . Filth around taps and the lamp white towels were old and looked used. Table in room had burns all over it! Fridge had dirt in it and in it . Didn’t want to touch the beds. Carpet was dirty. Didn’t stay . This hotel charged me for the room even though I never stayed!!!!! I checked in saw the room and checked out immediately! They later charged my credit card anyway!!! Snd they refuse to refund me the money they took ..

We stayed here before and it was great.

This time it was horrible, the room smelled like wet dog, there were gouges in the curtains & on the walls like from a cats claws, there was cat hair on the lamp shade. There were light bulb missing in lamp. The bathroom towels were rags!!!

The room was available; the outside of the building looked reasonably well kept. It was close to the border, which we had just come across after a very long drive.

After staying the first night - since we were going to be charged for it anyway - we decided that this place just didn't meet our standards. - The towels were in poor repair and needed to be replaced (see photos) - The room had not been adequately cleaned - The A/C controls, while simple, made it difficult to regulate the temperature in the room (see photos). It was either too hot or too cold the entire night. The photo will also show that the A/C unit had not been cleaned properly. - The bed was VERY firm, not our tastes but others may like that - Physical key locks that haven't been hospitality industry standard for over 25 years - for customer safety reasons - When we attempted to check out after our first night (we had originally booked 3 nights) the front desk made us jump through hoop after hoop after hoop only to then charge us ~$260 CAN as a "cancellation fee". We did not cancel. We checked out early. We attempted to resolve with Booking.com - who, frankly, were no help. We are now disputing the CC charge with our bank - who has informed us that we have a legitimate claim. This property will do its best to separate you from your money, since they absolutely know you won't come back after staying once.

It was clean and it accepted dogs
