シャワー給湯器設備ないので困った。 バスタオル交換、トイレペーパー補充などなかった。

The Condo ist situated in one of the newly built houses in Bayanihan Flats Phase 2 in Maribago. The connection from/to Mactan Airport takes a minimum of 22 minutes during the daytime as you have to go arround to the other site of the airport area. The hosts are a very friendly couple, that had been still delivering the missing refrigerator and a cabinet in the evening of my arrival. Two bottles of water, soap/showel gel and dishwashing liquid have been offered for free. The apartment does not have a big size but you will find everything you need in the kitchen area, including a rice coocker, induction cooking plate and a water heater. Because of the limitted space in the kitchen it has not been a big disadvantage for me that there was no microwave. The room is equipped with a silent and very well working split aircon and has a very small balcony (only 70cm wide, don't expect a balcony to sit on), which could be good to hang some cloth for drying if there were facilities for it. There is a smaller but nice little pool behind the building that had not been crowded at all during the week. A 7eleven Supermarket and a Julie's Bakeshop as well a nice foodcourt are in walking distance and some other shops and Gaisano Grand Mall are near by.

The work in the area in front of the Bayanihan Flats Phase 2 houses had not yet been completed on my arrrival at July 18, 2023, so that this area in front still had the character of a construction site with heaps of earth and a high site fence in front of it, while the picture used in the discribtion is obviously showing the final state to be expected but not the actual state of Bayanihan Flats Phase 2. Another construction with a huge heap of earth has been in front of the entrance to the swimming pool. This should at least be mentioned in advance because I think that tourists that are looking forward to spend their hollidays in an overall beautiful setting would be bothered by it. The cladding of the houses is modern and well designed. Overall, however, the equipment and quality does not correspond to a high or international standard. Notably, there are no elevators (4 floors) and the bathrooms are designed without sinks, mirrors, or shower curtains which might be unfamiliar to foreigners ...especially for shaving. Since there is neither an Internet connection nor a connection to cable/satellite TV offered and at least the smart mobile data connection at the location is not good enough for smooth internet, a use of the large Smart TV in the apartment can only be considered if a tenant can set up a fast WiFi signal there by himself. tourists will be bothered by it
