The stylish appearance somewhat compensated for the awful host performance

The hosts should not be allowed to sell via Booking.com - they are very difficult to reach, and have very rigid rules about check-in. The booking confirmation said we could notify them if we wanted to change our check-in time within the window of 16:00-24:00, but when we did so (moving from 16:00 to 20:00) they replied that due to their staff work hours they would not accept the change. We then agreed to check in at 14, but at the property there was no way to get passed the locked gate (we had no code). Phoning the host was also impossible, as we reached a call centre that could only help us if we knew the post code of the property. This was not stated on our documentation. Finally we chanced upon a cleaner/maid who didn't speak any English, nor ask for any ID before she let us into the apartment and rushed off. Horrible horrible horrible customer service. As a bonus there was a loud fan, but no cooling, sp always 26 C in the rooms.

could not adjust the thermostat. 2 nights with 26 c+ was too much. Led to poor sleep. there were no instructions and little help.
