We had a wonderful stay at the sunset beach house! The home was clean and had all the essential cookware necessary for a weekend stay with family. The views on the lake a gorgeous, and the house was in a great location for day trips to Auburn and Ithaca. A++ highly recommend staying here for a family getaway.

Wonderful! Perfect place for our family to gather from all over the country to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from SU, her birthday, and Mothers Day! Tony was awesome - offered all kinds of help in getting to know what was where, local sites, and even let us use some of his fishing tackle 😁. Beautiful place in a beautiful setting - highly recommend!

If you are looking for a place to reconnect and destress this is the house for you! We were a party of 8 adults From a well stocked kitchen. You could cook Thanksgiving diner ,no problem. Great towels and great beds. Best part was sitting outside with a cup of coffee in the morning-peaseful and serene. Breathtaking susets. Our children were out on the water as much as they could be. We will be back!!

We rented the property for a memorial trip for a dear friend. From the moment we entered the property it was apparent the owners value a positive experience for their renters. The home is beautiful, the kitchen is stocked, the beds are comfortable and the house is spotless!! I enjoyed my stay so much that I was planning on booking it for our family vacation. Unfortunately, the property is booked for the entire summer! Totally understandable!!! I look forward to returning!

In keeping with a long standing tradition of spending New Year’s Eve on a lake, we spent a long weekend at this beautiful house with gorgeous views of Owasco Lake. Immaculate and very well stocked with quality items ,very comfy beds, and 2 fireplaces. Owner was very communicative and attentive. We look forward to spending a week here in the summer.

Booked this lovely home for a girls trip and it was just what we all needed. Very spacious, cozy and peaceful. Plenty of room for everyone and nicely decorated. Hosts were very pleasant and accommodating.

We went to enjoy “A Dickens Christmas weekend” in Skaneateles. Location was great! Close proximity to both city is Skaneateles and Syracuse for shopping. Home was lovely and great sized

This house and property has an amazing view of the lake. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. We used both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The host, Tony, was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. This VRBO is nearby to many wineries, vineyards, Skaneateles and the famous MacKenzie-Childs Farmhouse and visitor center. We look forward to staying here again.

This might have been the best appointed VRBO we have ever stayed in. The beds, linens and towels were lovely. The home was wonderfully stocked with things that you just might need. A little gift basket at the door was a sweet and welcome surprise. There was plenty of room for everyone - in both the bedrooms (8 people) and in the main living space. The decks are truly spectacular. We loved this home a lot and have already booked our friends trip again for next fall!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on Owasco Lake. Tony was prompt and available with all communication. The house was cozy and clean. You can’t beat the views of the calm lake. It was the perfect spot to gather with friends and family.

What a gorgeous property! Exceeded our expectations. Sitting at the end of the pier was such a peaceful experience. We had lots of space for everyone to do their own thing and great community space. Very convenient for the theatre, hikes, and restaurants. We will definitely be back again.

From the welcome gift basket to the well stocked kitchen, this home was so amazing! The sunsets from the decks were gorgeous. Lots of room and everything was so comfortable.

The property was beautiful. The home was also well stocked with all of the daily items that you need like disk detergents, paper towels etc.

We stayed here with two families with kids. The host was extremely responsive to any inquiries. We spent most of our time sitting out on the dock (with Adirondack chairs) which was a nice surprise! We also used the outdoor fireplace which was very relaxing. We stayed mostly at the home but did do a day hike at Filmore Glen state park. The swimming basin had closed for the season but the views on the hike were really nice and it was not crowded. The kitchen was well stocked.

Lovely home on a perfect lake setting. The house was roomy, nicely decorate and very comfortable with a beautiful spacious covered deck. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake, the kayaks and swimming. Kitchen was very well stocked with great kitchenware. We loved having our meals on the deck with the beautiful lake view. The host was very welcoming and responsive. We can't wait to return.

The house is beautiful and clean, and boasts amazing sunset views over Owasco Lake. We had a group of 4 adults and 5 kids. There was plenty of space and entertainment for all ages. Everything is just as advertised and photographed. Our group particularly appreciated the outdoor space, including the patio with covered and uncovered sections, nice yard for kids to run around, deck overlooking the lake, and private beach area for swimming/fishing/kayaking. It’s clear from the moment you walk in that Tony and Joette want you to fully enjoy your stay. We were greeted by a welcome basket with goodies and a binder full of helpful info and local recommendations. The kitchen is well stocked, there’s reserves of toiletries, first aid, and outdoor supplies. They are top shelf hosts. 5/5, would happily visit again.

Clean, newly updated house on a lovely waterfront setting. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood on the east side of Owasco Lake. Owners were responsive and thoughtfully provided a welcome goodie basket and useful renter’s manual with details of the house and area. Relax and enjoy your stay!
