Great location on Grand Place for our Western Front Way trip with the bikes kept securely downstairs. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. We were well looked after

I was slightly apprehensive about checking in as my French is very limited but the process was very straightforward. The property is in a fantastic location overlooking the Grande Place with many shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. Our apartment was big enough for a family of 4 with all the facilities you could ask for. An amazing stay and would definitely visit again.

I'm so upset about the treatment we were given by this hotel. We were traveling back on a 19-hour journey to the UK with two young kids and were supposed to be staying here for a stopover. Unfortunately on the way home both of the kids began with a sick bug and were so so sick all over the car - it was a horrendous experience so we decided to just miss the stopover and mission it back to the UK asap with no stop so they were home and settled! You can imagine the stress! I phoned the hotel to explain but they were pretty rude and said we would be charged the full £380 anyway regardless if we showed up or not!!! I understand cancellation policies, but please show some empathy in these situations. Also surprised they would even want a sick bug spreading in the hotel. Really disappointed by this as we would've definitely stayed here another time in the future as it's the perfect location for a mid-way stopover. Unfortunately, we won't return now. Not a great way to run a business!

Excellent location. Close parking on square opposite hotel but it was quite pricey.

Front door closed when we arrived but we were a bit early. Had to wait quite a while before someone let us in. Communal areas/corridors very tired and in need of refurbishment. Bathroom open to bedroom so no privacy. View out of the back of the hotel not pleasant but I expect the view from the front rooms would be lovely overlooking the square.

A comfortable bed

No sensible sign outside the hotel. We had to drive round the square 4 times to find a parking space and only found it when we walked to locate the number on the door. We did not like the bath in the room on a very narrow plinth and after a shower, to get to the basin the floor was wet from the shower. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired and on checkout in the morning there was no one about and we had to shout and then look to find someone.

The communal halls to the rooms was very tired, we were on the second floor and when the lift door opened the carpet was worn and torn, such a pity as it was our first impression ! The shower tray also moved and was poor quality and the shower head spurted water and was broken .

Great position, covered parking very close, very comfortable bed, excellent shower. Anagram, their restaurant was excellent.
