Convenient for the A1, quiet, tucked away location with easy parking. The rooms are adequate, good quality traditional fittings. Well priced compared to others in Peterborough. It's a longsig drive into Peterborough, but pretty straightforward.

No phone chargers/sockets by the beds. The whole place is characterless, inside and out, needs someone to freshen its image.

apart from closure of A1 M access was easy and all usual facilities.

Breakfast was a bit weary looking and tables not cleared.

Great location just off the A1. Recently refurbished room with comfortable bed.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Had to ask for spoons and hard to find the one remaining mug! This was about 8am.

Breakfast was good

Room was very hot. Air conditioning unit was not working. Reported this to Reception. I was told someone would be there to look at it in a couple of minutes. No one arrived for over an hour so I returned to Reception. The receptionist returned to the room and looked at the a/c unit for about 30 seconds and said, no it isn’t working. He informed me I would receive a discount and he brought me a fan for the room. He told me to come to Reception later and he would sort out the refund. When I went to Reception later he referred me to a more senior colleague who said she did not have the authority to give any refund. I asked to speak to a manager but was told no one was available. I was told the manager would contact me by email but this has never happened. Very disappointing. I would certainly avoid this hotel in warmer weather as the rooms were unbearably hot.

Amazing staff lovely bar. Enjoyed the bath soft beds. Nice quiet location breakfast was amazing

Everywhere was very low I'm 6ft 5 and had alot of issues. Plugs not near bed. Plugs near lamp so couldn't plug 1 socket in. Shower door doesn't reach the back but the shower rail which causes damage. Heater on in June and pipes. No air conditioning.

Staff were great and the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent

Everything. From beginning to end, all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. One of our motorcycles broke down. They were happy for us to leave it and our luggage there, while we could return to retrieve it. Arrived there quite stressed after a challenging journey. Large, comfy room. Yummy breakfast, nice food in the bar and a very welcome couple of beers. Thank you again to all the lovely staff. Especially the lady behind the bar x
