Amazing vibe of this hostel. I stayed in 12 bed dorm of this property and most of the people were travelling solo. I had a great time here. Staff is super friendly. Done some tours with fellow travelers as this hostel is organising tours around Rishikesh on daily basis and it was awesome you get enough time to socialise with others.

I wish I had known before that the closest bridge (Laxman Jhula) is, and has been for quite a while, closed. That made reaching the hostel a bit difficult, as you have to take a boat that only runs until approximately 5:30pm

Joey's was a great hostel in a fantastic location. Staff were friendly, check in was smooth and the room was spacious and very clean. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Thanks for a great stay. The hostel is around 10 minutes walk from Ram jhula

The Ganges..!! Morning views.. They have this lil hideout below the stairs (ground floor) which directly leads to the Banks of Ganga.. Day or Night..-- I have no words to express the PeAce the views gave.. You can sit here and watch the rafters go by.. People praying.. Ganga Arti..Sunset.. The birds..Waves.. well..you need to experience it to know it :)

I recently stayed at Joey's Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the breathtaking Ganga view from my room. The rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, enhancing the overall experience. As a first-time solo traveler, and working on the go. my stay at Joey’s was truly exceptional. The staff members were incredibly accommodating, the beds were impeccably maintained, and the bathrooms were spotless. Initially, I had some reservations regarding the security of my laptop and personal belongings. However, it was remarkable how the guests here seldom felt the need to lock their bags or use their lockers (even though lockers were provided). This created a sense of trust and comfort that allowed me to leave my laptop on the bed while I ventured out for activities like bathing in the Ganga, exploring various cafes, or taking smoke breaks, all without a single worry. By the second day, Joey’s had become like a home away from home. The atmosphere was so welcoming and warm that I found myself immersed in it. Overall, my time spent here was absolutely delightful, and I couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness when it was time to leave. It’s worth mentioning, the dormitory’s vibe and the charm of Rishikesh itself were so captivating that almost everyone, including myself, couldn’t resist extending their stay by a few days. A truly unforgettable experience! 😄🏨

The staff is amazing, super friendly and the rooms are lovely for an incredibly low price: a very good deal. It works perfectly for those who are looking for a different location to keep working from "home" since there's a strong internet connection and a lot of space to set. For those who are looking for a good adventurous vacation and friendships from all other the world this is the place for you. Every night you can join the other tourists and keep exploring with them. The hostel is on walking distance from the beautiful historic laxman bridge (I suggest renting some scooters and have a trip around the city). I promise you will leave this hostel with a note of sadness and loads of newborn friendships, maybe love, and tons of beautiful memories. Special mention to Rahul !!!!
