The apartment is beautiful with extraordinary decor. Great for a working vacation with a nice desk. Kitchen was stocked with sufficient dishes, utensils, etc. and easy to use. The front porch was a relaxing place to enjoy coffee in the morning & to unwind in the evening. Plantings were an added touch. This was my second stay. I thoroughly enjoyed both my stays & hope to return soon.

Space was clean and very spacious and comfortable. Very homey. Only disadvantage was the initial incline of the driveway.

This getaway is heavenly. The front porch has a beautiful view, yet feels private. There are beautiful flowers everywhere and hummingbirds to watch although you feel like you are out in the middle of nature, you are truly 5 minutes away from everything. Bruce has thought of your every amenity need snd keeps the place immaculate. Will be back next year..

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pleasant Hill getaway! Bruce was able to accommodate us on very short notice. Everything was extremely clean and well organized. Bed was super comfy! Bruce really has thought of everything! We will definitely stay again when in the area!!

This VRBO is even better than it appears in the write up. Very clean, tastefully decorated and Bruce is so easy to work with. Very prompt with communication! There were fresh flowers from the gardens when we arrived and the entire experience was amazing! The front porch was private while allowing us to observe the gardens. Was a great place to relax with a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of coffee in the morning.

Booked this for my husband, and he hasn't stopped raving about his stay. Comfortable, clean, quiet, and beautifully organized. Convenient to downtown Franklin, and perfect for his needs while visiting family in Franklin. Will definitely stay here again.

This was the first time at Bruce Stout's place. It was very clean and quiet. We had a planned overnight hike at Mt LeConte, so this was the perfect place to stay for a few days. His place is beautiful with all the flowers

Bruce the owner is amazing!! Easy to work with, very responsive and has an amazing green thumb.
My hubby and I so love enjoyed staying here, it was very clean, very quiet, very peaceful and easy to get to and close to town without being in town. The whole place had everything you would want and need to enjoy your time there. Heck I could have just stayed there the whole time and read books on the porch area or on the couch. It was just what we needed to recharge. We can't wait to stay again. Bruce thank u for an amazing stay.

It was great being in town but tucked away in a quiet area, and we had every amenity we could possibly need! We especially appreciated the a/c in the bedroom and the surges with usb plug ins at each bedside. The unit was spacious, well decorated and super clean. Bed was comfy and as it was very quiet, we slept great! Plenty of parking for our large vehicle and a cute porch to sit and relax in the evening. As this was a yearly business trip, I'm sure we will be back!

This property is the perfect weekend getaway. Our son has recently moved to the area, so we are happy to find somewhere to stay. Bruce has thought of everything. Can’t wait to return.

Immaculate, could not have been better cared for. We felt like we were in a home. Perfect location for sightseeing Franklin, waterfalls, and the area. Bruce has thought of every need, down to various kitchenware and spices. It became a game for us to think of something Bruce missed. We lost. Bruce indeed cares for his visitor's stay.

This was our third stay at this property. It is perfect for our needs. The owner just replaced the queen-sized bed with a king-sized bed. The new bed was very comfortable and a nice upgrade to this rental.

This was the best vacation lodging I have found in my many trips to the NC mountains. The location, price, amenities, and attention to detail were perfect for my stay. Five stars seems like an understatement.
