We all enjoyed our stay for the week. The house was amazing inside and out. Everyone loved the pool, screened in porch, and firepit. We were a little disappointed that the creek wasn't great fishing and even kayaking far out into the bay didn't change that as it was still relatively shallow water. However we were able to catch the occasional skate off the dock and an abundance of crab.

Super amazing vacation site, especially for a large family. Spacious house, comfortable and well maintained. Amazing waterfront. Had everything we needed for a great family vacation.

A beautiful clean home with a kitchen containing most everything you would need. We were hopeful to be able to catch fish and crabs but that didn’t work out so well. Perhaps the 100+ heat didn’t help with that. But the pool was wonderful. Fabulous sunrises and sunsets. My only regret is we could not get to the Bay. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. Beautiful home with everything you could need, kayaks, paddle boards, salt water pool, and a little sandy beach. The home was great and easily fit our three small families. The upstairs was fantastic with its own private space. The town is tiny so if you are looking for things to do or pizza to order for delivery this isn’t your place, but if you are looking to leave everything behind and hideaway with all the relaxing you could dream of this is DEFINITELY THE place for you!! Fires on the beach with a full moon Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, games The screened in porch was a wonderful place to relax. Don’t forget your bug spray, but if you do they’ll have it for you. Everything was easily explained in the binder!! We all enjoyed our stay!!

If you are looking for somewhere that is off the beaten path, this is it! This home is absolutely beautiful and in a great location with the private beach and pool. Although we had a few cleaning issues up front, Peter worked with us immediately to rectify any issues. This home offers great amenities and great hospitality. I would definitely rent this home again!

Traveling to this modern estate on the Chesapeake Bay and Taskmaker Creek brought us into a peak of the old times from the late 18 century up to present day. The town of Reedville and it's multiple fishing fleets and Main street with the many Millionaires Mansions were worth a visit. While the restaurants are few and not always open, they are treats that must be visited. The house itself in a wonder of new proportions with it's many well appointed Bedrooms, Kitchen, Living Room, Screened in Porch, wonderful Dining Room (fantastic View of The Chesapeake Bay) and of course the Boat Dock on Taskmaker Creek (in our case --Fishing Dock) The Swimming Pool had all our family wet and satisfied (plenty of swim toys available) The Kayaks and Life Jackets, in the Garage were ready to use but we had brought our own. There was an outside Fire Pit that we did not have the opportunity to use but it's there and we did manage to use the BBQ grill for many of our meals. Our host Ms. O'Neil was very helpful and kind to our needs and answered every question and request. Overall this "Taskmaker" rental from VRBO was the perfect place for our Family of 9 and our pet Dog "Zeplin" for 7 days was PERFECT.
