I will start off by saying that the house was amazing. The property had everything we could ask for, including games, plenty of lounging space, a putting / chipping area and a large pool. You will find rules on just about every wall of the house. One of which is that the back yard is CLOSED from 10PM to 9AM. Completely understandable if you don’t want people making noise outside at night. We are adults and we are homeowners, we know how to keep it down. On the first night, I received a message from the owner asking us to make sure we turned the back light off it’s “shining into the neighbors houses”. I found it a little strange, but I went to the back and turned the light off because we were already inside at that point anyway. Day 2 was a great start to the day in town, we came back to the house around noon and the ladies wanted to enjoy the pool and get some sun. Great, except they were kicked out because the pool guys showed up. After they left, we finally got to enjoy ourselves outside. 6:20PM I received a text message from the owner saying the music is too loud. Now, I’m not looking at my phone because we are outside having fun. 3 minutes later another text, then a call, then suddenly the owners wife just shows up in the back yard telling us to turn down the music. It was still daylight. Turns out they live right behind the property. Law enforcement should’ve come over and told us we were too loud, not them. Be prepared to have very minimal privacy on this property.

Loved the short walk to the beach and short drive to old town St. Augustine, but could have just stayed the whole vacation at the house and had a great time.

This was a great house with plenty of space for 5 adults. It is just a short walk to the public access path to the beach and only about 15-20 minutes away from the main St. Augustine/St. George St. area.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful house. Amazing location with beautiful views of the ocean. Very short walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend

We rented the house because we had a bunch of adults gathering to celebrate our friends getting married. All of the rooms had King beds and the views from outside were great. We loved the backyard and the guys especially loved the putt putt during down time. Great house and would def stay again.

Captain’s Oasis is a lovely home. Great space and location for large groups. Plenty to do, very clean and so nice that it was pet-friendly. Would stay here again!

We loved our time at this property. The home is exactly as listed, and was perfect for our group of 10. David was an excellent communicator - would definitely rent again!

The house is very spacious with a large pool and multiple decks for sitting and/or having a meal outside. Close walk to the white sand beach. Easy check-in and check-out process. Would highly recommend.

This property has awesome views of the ocean and wonderful upper deck for the most amazing sunrise!!! The house is very clean and well stocked. Nice large pool. 5min easy walk to beach access. At night we enjoyed the fire pit and then the comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. Short drive to the historic district. Would definitely stay here again

Awesome house here. Great views of the ocean on the front side. Pool and putting green out back were a lot of fun! The house was very clean and comfortable and David and Patti were very helpful. All around great experience!
