The beds were comfortable, lighting is not so good. Nice grill and outdoor deck. dining room table is nice and the kitchen is fine. Would like to have had some toiletries and better toilet paper, shampoo, etc. An upgrade to the lighting throughout the bedrooms, and the entire house would be a big improvement. so it is darker than it needs to be. Location is perfect for us as it provides easy access to the downtown, Pisgah and Dupont. We were OK with the steep incline, but others might not be. Saw deer and a white squirrel in the backyard, which was a bonus. Overall, we had a great time and were pleased.

We were looking for a small cabin for our family and two dogs. The blissful bungalow was perfect! Fenced in backyard made it easy to let the dogs out and it was a short drive to the town of Brevard as well as Pigsah National Forest.

Very clean, with relaxing views, comfortable beds, and a nicely appointed deck on the back. You have to take a twisty road up a steep hill to get to it, and the driveway goes own, and is somewhat narrow, but it’s not terrible, even in a small car. One of our party members approached in the dark during a rainstorm, and decided to go get a motel instead, but regretted it once seeing in daylight. We enjoyed it so much, we’re looking at trying to book it again soon. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our spring break trip to Brevard. The house was clean, beds comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. We loved the local waterfalls, hikes, ice cream and bbq. Our dog spent hours in the deck watching the deer.

The fit and finish need much to be desired though and the guest amenities are few and far between. Not very clean, no extra linens, bathroom mats tattered and dirty, one set of old, rough bath towels, even the toilet paper cheapest money can buy. So much potential but just up to rental standards in out view.

We absolutely LOVED staying in this immaculate, open floor concept home nestled in a woodsy mountainous neighborhood! Each room was so well appointed, especially the kitchen! We enjoyed grilling on the deck and walking our dog in the beautiful surrounding neighborhood. We enjoyed how close we were to Brevard and DuPont State Forest, getting to hike the many beautiful waterfall trails!! We will DEFINITELY be repeat clients!

This was a very nice house in a perfect location! After rugged hikes to take in the beautiful water falls near Brevard or hours of fly fishing on the blue ribbon Davidson River, coming back to the “home away from home” comfort enabled us to be well rested and ready for the next day’s adventure! We look forward to scheduling time to stay here again in the near future!

Although, we were only staying a couple of nights while we attended our son's wedding, we enjoyed the home and we hope to return again soon!

Perfect spot to rest and get ready for wedding weekend activities. Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 5. Steep driveway was a bit of a challenge for our wheelchair ramp SUV but all worked out. Would definitely recommend and if ever back in the area we would definitely rent again. Our college aged sons especially loved the bungalow.
