We are a group of life long friends in our sixties who take a mini vacation together every August. Well, this one was the BEST! From the time we inquired about White Lion Manor, Liza was incredible with her quick responses to all of our many questions. When we arrived, the place was even better than we had expected. There were plenty of beds and plenty of gathering areas, although we spent most of our time outside on the patio or by the beautiful pool. The kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable! It got to be a joke after a while when someone would say something like, "I wonder if there is a pizza stone here? Or, do you think there is an ice cream maker?" And there was! On top of the many amenities, there were all of Liza's personal touches, like the fresh flowers, water, wine, cake and snacks on our arrival, and all kinds of reading materials about the house and the surrounding community. We had all kinds of plans to go to wineries and breweries, but we wound up staying at the house because we enjoyed it so much. Thank you, Liza for allowing 13 special friends to enjoy a getaway with not a care in the world. It is obvious that you take pride in what you do.

We had a wonderful stay at White Lyon Manor! The place was gorgeous with lots of amenities and the host Liza was fantastic! Historic place but yet with updated attributes. The property was convenient and private. We toured the area and is an easy drive to RI and MA. The pool was great for afternoons/evenings after exploring! Highly recommend! Thank you!!

We had an amazing time at the White Lion!!! We were a group of 11 (6 adults, 5 teens) and we had plenty of space to come together as a large group and room to relax privately when desired. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen very well appointed. We really appreciated the double ovens for homemade pizza night, the double refrigerators for all of our food and beverages, and the double dishwashers because we were a big group! We had a blast in the pool and got tub and everyone in the group loved the massage chair! We also had a great time watching a movie in the theater room--the chairs are so comfy and the TV screen is massive!!!! The host was incredible and includes a lot of special touches to make everyone feel welcome! This is by far the best host and and the best vacation rental I've experienced!! I truly hope we can stay here again!!

Staying at While Lion Manor is heaven on earth! Our group has stayed at several vacation homes over the past ten years and Liza's place is BY FAR the best. We jumped from the pool to the hot tub and back again, both day and night. We watched a movie in the theater, seated in oversized reclining chairs under luxurious blankets. We cooked elaborate meals in a kitchen that had EVERYTHING, including 2 big refrigerators. All throughout the property, indoor and outdoor flameless candles set a relaxing mood and guided us to and from the far corners of the Manor. Liza is much more than a host - she treats her guests like they were lifelong friends. Before we left, we made reservations for next year!

This was the best vacation rental my family has had the pleasure of staying at. The house is absolutely stunning—pictures do not do it justice! Every room is thoughtfully decorated and stocked with every supply you could possibly need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious. From the backyard pool to the fantastic massage chair and cozy movie theatre, there is fun for everyone here! But, what truly makes this place extraordinary is the fantastic host. Liza, went above and beyond in accommodating our family and making us feel at home. You will not regret staying at the White Lion Manor!

We absolutely loved our stay! We had 8 couples for a weekend lacrosse tournament at Wesleyan. There was so much space, we fit comfortably and had everything we needed. We even hosted dinner for the team one evening. I gave the Description 4 stars simply because it does not do justice to the home. It is so much more than what you see online. Liza is amazing and responded quickly to any questions. I definitely recommend a stay here. We hope to be back for a reunion one day!

We just had an amazing stay at the White Lion Manor for a friend’s 50th birthday weekend getaway. The host, Liza, was very responsive before our arrival in answering any questions we had. She went out of her way with special touches within the manor to welcome guests upon their arrival. She provided a walk through of the home which was helpful so you are aware of all that there is to offer. It was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The space is large enough for many guests while also offering many spaces for privacy and quiet when desired. Our group took advantage of the hot tub, sauna, massage chair, chef’s kitchen, theater room and the many places to sit and just enjoy the time together. We are already looking forward to making this a yearly trip and can’t wait to visit the White Lion Manor again. Thank you, Liza, for sharing your beautiful home and being so welcoming!
