No front desk help upon check in at 6pm, had to call a phone number to retrieve my key under a mat. Was told to return after 8pm for more info after their lunch. No one answered the Ring bell late at night. No WIFI, no functional TV without internet connection.

Phenomenal service everyone is friendly and helpful! You can literally walk to the beach in 2 minutes! The pool was crystal clear and warm! Nancy did an amazing job of making us feel at home! We will definitely be staying there again soon!!!

Absolutely enjoyed our time here. Loved the people from management to all the help. It was a great place on the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and fulfilling. The price was better than any other hotel on the beach and most of Port A. Highly recommend!!

Really enjoyed the room and proximity to the beach. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good. Only complaint I had is there is only one chair in the room, even though there are two beds for up to four people, the only place to sit is one office chair or the bed. We would have liked to sit together at the counter to eat a sandwich but you can’t. Oh, and the faucet in the shower is kinda strange for the hot and cold part, took a minute to see how it worked. Took a while to figure out the tv remotes also, they should have instructions lol.

Everything was great! Convenience was great! They’re good rooms. I would have liked them a little cleaner. The bathroom/shower that leaks water all through out bathroom is gross to me. Otherwise, all good!

Great place right on the beach! The manager, Nancy, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was great. They provided beach towels and chairs and the pool is well maintained and very nice. The view was magnificent! We will definitely return.

This is a great spot right next to the beach! Nancy and team are very professional, super nice, and go out of their way to make sure your stay is memorable. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast was included and offered biscuits and gravy, big deal for us, and the waffles were good too! Pet friendly which was our English bulldog appreciated! He is always ready to meet and make new friends. Definitely would return.

The hotel has seen better days, our room showed quite a lot of wear and tear. There were also hairs from a previous guest in the bathroom and the floors were not too clean. Fortunately we had some cleaning spray, bleach wipes, and paper towels and were able to clean and disinfect the room ourselves. The staff were friendly, and did offer to move us to another room later on, but we had already cleaned the room we had, so we declined. The hotel is right next to the beach, which was a real plus. We booked the hotel on very short notice so it was good that we were able to find a place that was dog friendly. I will say that the hotel is pretty indicative of what you will normally find in it’s price range on the beach over a weekend, so we kind of knew what we were getting into, thus the average rating and why we did come prepared with the cleaning supplies and personal bed sheets. We did enjoy our stay in Port Aransas, and if you are looking for a good place to eat, try Tortuga’s.

This is the perfect place right on the beach! Amazing customer service that makes you feel at home!! Hot breakfast till 10am! Such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is right beside the beach which makes it perfect and my room was absolutely beautiful!! The property manager Nancy is awsome!! I will definitely stay here again.

The stay was amazing ! We felt right at home with the warm welcoming that was provided during check in and our entire stay. Nancy was very sweet. The breakfast was great and the staff were all so nice and sweet. This was a last minute trip and steps away from the beach made it all well worth it. I definitely will be staying here again!

First, the good. Great location adjacent to the beach, super friendly staff, clean room. Not luxurious, but nice. The bad is that the cleaning staff uses some smelly disinfectant that permeates everything. It smells like a bad cover up of menthol cigarettes. As soon as I got home I started noticing the smell in my house. Upon investigation, I noticed that it was on my luggage, clothes, everything. Even stuff that I placed in the refrigerator smelled. Everything that was in the room had to be thoroughly washed or thrown away. For the odor reason alone, I would not stay here again. That’s really too bad because the hotel has so many other positives.

Had the bad luck of having encountered a serious wreck on or right before the ferry that had happened some time when we were driving to port aransas. Out of our control, but Mgr leaned on policy of nonrefundable instead of making a one time exception or partial reimbursement. We had to wait so long in line we were only able to have 3 hours of sleep prior to graduation event that day. Sleeps 6 stated & “new” property, but really just hastily renovated & bathroom & mirror only accommodates 2ppl at once. Nice bed, unusual chemical smell, but perfect location other than ferry, but for the price I was expecting more & circumstances, no reimbursement & long drive made this very disappointing. Not suitable for anything romantic or long term due to allergies acting up with the chemicals left from renovations I assume. Air filter was blinking error in morning and not working anymore.

Room was clean, beds are comfortable, walkable from beach, and great service.

TV wouldn't work and assistant came and looked at it and could not fix. Said he would send someone and never did. I got it to work eventually the second day. I reserved a golf cart and when arrived - staff said there was an error and someone else had it.so no cart was available. Clean and convenient to beach.

Amazing location and wonderful staff. This hotel feels like the owners care about the property rather than just a churn profit chain. You can see the renovations that have been made and I got the feeling that this is a continuing work in progress, with more and better coming. So many thoughtful little things that speak of pride in the property (embroidered towels with the hotel name!). Check in was smooth, breakfast was the usual. All the staff were outstanding in their courtesy. We had a need for first aid after we had checked out already but they helped us out, even lending us an umbrella while we sat outside taking care of everything. Will gladly come back and I look forward to what our next visits will be like!
