First time to outer banks, this house is beautiful, nicely designed, and in a wonderful location. Very close access to a public beach, close to the walking/biking path and nice ice cream shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. My only complaints were that some of the amenities didn't work or were broken and check in is late in the day and check out is very early. When coming from out of state like us, much of our day was consumed with travel on the check-in and checkout days. Overall, still had a wonderful experience and a great vacation. Very thankful for me casa su casa to build more family memories.

There were a few problems with the house when we arrived but management was very prompt and took care of everything. My only disappointment was the pool and the area around the pool. The pool was a little small and the area around the pool was too close. The fence needs to be moved back a little and the gravel removed.

The wine refrig didn't work and one of the shower handles was in poor condition. The cleaning crew needs to clean better under all of the furniture.

We always like this house of its style and location so close to the beach. Wished it had an elevator..haha. Shame the wine cooler still isn't working. Cleaning people really need to dust under the bed and dressers. Enough dust bunnies to make a Bunny!

We were all together for the first time in 17 years for a vacation. We had the best time. The house was wonderful - lots of room. Some of the things need replaced - such as beach chairs and pool items. The child gate was broken, but we made it work and the property managment company replaced it quickly but the replacement needed to be installed - we did not have tools to do that. LOTS OF STEPS!!! LOL - but OBX homes are like that. Loved that we were able to bring our dogs - they enjoyed it too. We vaccumed every day to keep up with the dog hair. THANK YOU!

Only wish it had an elevator since my husband and I are older. But great house overall. Loved that it had a bath with each bedroom. Loved the salt water pool. Great access to the beach and pier. Reviewer Comments: The home is in very poor condition and lots of thing don't work (whirlpool tub, wine refrigerator, outside and inside lighting) are just a few. I am sure at one time this house was nice but needs a lot of work. I was assured over the phone by the management company that they had a quality control system and everything was in working order but that was not the case. We where told the owner was not paying for several fixes that were needed but only after we got there. We were very disappointed to say the least. I know that some renters do not take care of houses but new renters should be told the truth of the condition of the house at the time they are reserving it. I would not recommend this house to anyone.

Reviewer Comments: Mi Casa-Su Casa was beautiful as advertised when we pulled into the driveway on day one.The interior of the home was very nice as advertised also.A few things about this property were not as advertised.I know certain things are caused by wear and tear by renters like the corner pocket of the pool table was duct taped and fell off every time a ball went into it.The jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom did not work.The repairman attempted to fix it but,the motor was shot. The backyard was another issue that can't be blamed on renters and is in need of some serious TLC by the owner.None of the gates would securely latch so, our dog was able to escape twice. Weeds were overtaking parts of the fence.The volleyball net was tattered and poles were rusted along with the horse shoe set because they were left in the yard all winter.These things were advertised as ammenities but, were not really useable.The pool and hot tub were in good working order.Overall I give the agents at Beach realty 5 stars because they were great but, I would expect the property owner to take better care of their investment.I expect to see some things roughed up a little later in the season but, this property should have been in better condition this early in the season.I would do business with Beach Realty again but,not this property.

Close to beach access and some eateries. Backyard is very large which is great for outdoor games as well as the dogs to roam. They have some beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc for your use which is very helpful. Inside of house was clean. Decor of house is very nice.Bad: Fence around yard is in need of repair - doesn't close very well, had board missing that dogs got out because of, I was able to nail back into place. Backyard doesn't look anything like pictures anymore - not green and plush. Volleyball net not set-up and doesn't look to be able to without some serious work. Most annoying door alarm leading into pool area. Dishwasher is hit or miss on doing a good job. Very few hand towels and washcloths. Area under house between pool area and shower had an old towel, plastic cup, beer glass there - obviously didn't have any cleaning in that area before arrival. Middle deck is quite green, needs a good cleaning. The wine fridge doesn't work and hasn't for at least two years looking at other reviews.

Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was great besides the weather :( We were unable to enjoy a lot the house's amenities because of the unusually cold & WINDY weather! Other than that I would love to come back. The house had everything you would need on vacation...since we stayed in a lot we made use of the pool table/ping pong table. Its a perfect house for family trips as each bedroom has its own bathroom and access to the deck! The dog loved the fenced in yard & tennis balls left for her!
