As we were an hour out, the Property manager Rex called to ask us not to use too much water or produce too much “waste” due to plumbing issues with their septic tank. I let him know we wouldn’t be using an unnecessary amount and if he’s experiencing an ongoing issue he should get the septic tank clean out in which he responded that he had cleaned it the day before. Upon arrival, the home wasn’t the cleanest with Marks and dents in living room wall, crumbs on dining room seats and what I hope was chocolate smeared on the hallway wall, and kids handprints on the front window, which made us question the cleanliness of the home. Though the house listing stated there was a third bedroom Across the pool, the bedroom wasn’t inviting with a musty smell and absolutely no outside lighting and no attached bathroom. Though I reserved for 8, we only ended up with 5 guests total so the two rooms were comfortable and worked out well. In the evening the patio didn’t have sufficient lighting which makes grilling on the patio a challenge. The light inside the pool wasn’t working either and though heated the pool isn’t warm/hot after 6/7pm. The beach chairs in the garage had old food wrappers and used face masks in the pockets and a roach crawled out of one of them. It was an unpleasant experience but they do have a kayak paddleboard and working chairs and umbrellas.

This property is everything it claims to be! Very clean and in a good neighborhood close to the beach and within walking distances to restaurants (we enjoyed POPs- a grill right off the canal!). We would stay here again.

The neighbor came into our back yard and yelled at us through the screen door saying we need to quit down or she’s calling the cops. Not to mention, the previous renters warned us about the neighbor because they yelled at her 10 year old son to quit down. We came home one day to find a “air conditioning” man standing in our house and Rex did not authorize him to come in the house, neither did we. Rex did not seem to be bothered that someone was in the house that wasn’t supposed to be, while he had guests staying. I wouldn’t stay with this property again!
