It was a family get together as well as doing touristy stuff and this house aloud for both with ease. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. And being pet friendly with a nice yard was icing on the cake. We would definitely stay here again.

The Stone House is a charming house with a great host. We needed to place to stay that was dog friendly for our whole family in Alexandria and this was perfect. Parking was easy and located on the property and walking our dog in the neighborhood was safe and easy. Our host left a kind note, wine, and even treats for our dog on check in, so thoughtful! Would absolutely stay at the Stone House again!

The house was beautifully decorated, super comfortable, had everything you would need when traveling, we just loved hanging out there. There is a beautiful park/trail within walking distance (four mile run) and the best organic supermarket (moms) just stone the corner. My sister will most definitely come back again. Teresa was super attentive and met all of our needs.

Stayed here with my parents for our trip to DC and it was perfect! The drive into the city was quick during non-rush hours. The house was easy to find, clean, and had everything we needed. The host, Teresa, was easy to contact and very nice. We ran out of trash bags and she quickly got some to us. The pull out sofa was comfortable, I didn’t have any issues throughout the week. All pictures are very accurate - the bathroom is tight but not uncomfortably so. Would recommend staying here!!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and the off-street parking was a major plus. The host thought of everything down to providing an umbrella, which we needed and didn't have. She had a nice welcome gift waiting for us and even had a few snacks available because she anticipated we would be hungry after traveling. The communication was outstanding with the host! The home was immaculate, and there was even a treadmill off the master bedroom for those who didn't want to miss out on their cardio fitness. I cannot say enough nice things about my stay, but if you are reading this, my takeaway is, "My son and I will try to reserve the Stone House again when we revisit Alexandria."

Such a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything! Thanks to Teresa we had everything we needed! Couldn't ask for a better house or host!

Owner was wonderful, very responsive and provided excellent suggestions for places to eat, etc. Loved that it was only a 3 min walk to catch a bus (then transfer to Metro) to get into D.C. Plenty of room for our family of 5 to sleep. The only downside was that the bathroom is very tight. I learned we definitely need two bathrooms with 5 people! Thank you for everything Teresa!
