We picked to stay in the outer banks for dates that were affected by an incoming storm. Luckily, the home is very close to the beach and we were able to swiftly get out and back in swiftly. Also, the home was so comfortable for our family that even the added time in the home due to weather was incredibly pleasant. Management company was communicative and even replaced the gas grill when we reported it was not working properly.

Our stay was going well and we were enjoying our time at OBX until the house’s top floor AC unit stopped working for the last 2 days/nights of our stay. It caused the rest of the trip to be unpleasant as we weren’t able to use the space in the top floor including the kitchen. This was an unfortunate situation and Coastal Carolina tried helping fix this issue, but things didn’t work out. They were always responsive and helpful during our whole stay. The house looked better in person than the photos, more spacious and the pool was larger than we expected. We did notice the listing mention 2 kings, however there was only 1. Location was solid, 15 min walk to the beach/3-5 min drive, pickleball and tennis courts part of the community, and close to the Duck boardwalk.

The property was lovely. Surrounded by woods which gave us the best of all worlds - privacy, nature and a short walk to the beach. The house was nice and the kids loved the pool. It was a really pleasant stay.

This house was absolutely beautiful! Located on a quiet cul de sac it was private and perfect! Check in was easy and the home was immaculate. The pool was clean and the home had everything we needed to enjoy our getaway. The grill was clean as were all the decks. The kitchen was a dream! Large dining area for breakfast/lunch. Close to Duck, we were able to ride bikes into town and explore all the little shops. This home is a true gem and would recommend to anyone interested in an amazing OBX experience. This is our 3rd time visiting the island and our first time in Southern Shores. The area is close to everything but still away from the busier area of Nags Head and Kitty Hawk. Great restaurants close by with local favorites. A perfect place to stay for any family!

Very nice home with a private setting enclosed back yard with a pool There were a few leaves in the pool but there are trees providing some shade so what can you expect? It is within walking distance to the beach . I m not complaining about the 3 flights of stairs to carry things (we need the exercise ) but it would’ve been very handy if there was a bin / bucket to use with the provided lift. The home was clean and well supplied .The kitchen /dining area was awesome and beds were very comfy .We will stay here again! Since we have several allergy ridden family members, it was great to find a smoke free ,pet free ,air freshener free , and mold free ,....... just a nice clean home .

Property is good , but kids wanted to swim in pool and its all dirty so really cant swim.
