We stayed as a family of 7, and the house really worked great for us, keeping everyone occupied with pool table, kayaking, biking, swimming pool, TV in every room or just chilling by the pool, we did all of it. If we come the same crowd, we would definitely stay again in this house. There are a lot of dishes and utensils, we cooked something small every day. Everything seems to be in a perfect condition, we just needed some groceries, and Publix supermarket is 6 minutes away. The neighborhood is really quiet, which was a big plus for us.

We had a wonderful week at the house. It was very clean. The house is as advertised. We loved the location. It was a 20 minute walk from the beach. We took the bikes most days and locked them up at the beach. There are 8 fabulous bikes, all ready to go. The pool table kept our adult children very entertained. We loved having access to the boats and enjoyed a wonderful day canoeing in the canals. We would highly recommend this rental!

Jean & Eric did a great job hosting. Everything was as advertised. We had a great time and made lifelong memories.

We are from Rochester, NY our kids are from Milford, OH going to Florida for Thanksgiving was awesome! This house is absolutely amazing for a family get together. Everything was great, the interior set up is so neat and clean. What is outside is even better. Being able to swim and open the sliders to watch football was a blast. The electric lift for the kayaks was so cool. The bikes were fun.Enjoying Thanksgiving dinner under the lanai was so much fun. Jean and Eric were great with communication. We did not have any issues at all. So many fun filled memories made. Thank you so much for everything! Could not have asked for a better host, home and location! From start to finish our stay here was nothing short of perfect! Home is beautiful, clean and most of all, comfortable! Close to everything.... Eric, our host, was very accommodating and great to communicate with! This vacation was a "senior girlfriends getaway" and it was everything we were hoping for. Overall this house was an excellent to stay on Marco Island. Near to the beaches and on a canal, it was easy to enjoy water sports. We did not take advantage of the kayak etc but enjoyed the pool. The house was big enough for the 7 of us to enjoy shared and private time.

The property was great, however never was it communicated that the property was for sale and that potential buyers would be coming to look at the property during our stay. We had to clean up and stay outside while the buyers and agents were looking at the house. The a/c was marginal at best. The day they came to show the house the agent opened all the blinds and curtains to give more light to show the house which caused the house to heat up and then I get an email from the owner about the a/c running all day and we need to make sure we are keeping the doors shut while we are there. The a/c was running because your agent opened all the blinds and let the sunshine in to heat up the house!!

I booked the property mostly for the amenities. Having access to the kayaks and bikes was awesome. We also enjoyed the fishing poles which weren’t mentioned in the listing. The neighborhood is quiet also.

House is very clean! Lanai and pool area were a great addition! Kayaks, and bikes were fun too! House is better than pictures showed.

Good house. Each bathroom is an on suite there is no common bathroom in the house. Other things to be aware of , you have to purchase laundry detergent. The house came with 1 paper towel roll and a couple toilet paper rolls for each bathroom. You have to buy your own if you need more. Overall good home to rent. Quick communication from owner.

Nice house, with lots of space. The road driving into the property needs major repair (Not owners fault) . Not a lot of privacy outdoors, but the house comes with lots of things to do.

Everything great!

The house was nearly perfect for our family. My wife and I rented it for our daughters and our granddaughter to join us. Our 7 year old granddaughter was in heaven. She pretty much bossed us around 24/7 and owned the pool. We all took shifts with her so everyone was tired at the end of the day. She even slept later than everyone, which never happens. Our granddaughter also enthusiastically embraced the pool table, becoming quite good for someone who had never played before. Of course, the beaches provided special experiences. She was not a big fan of Tigertail because of the long walk required from the parking lot. She liked the South Beach access much better. We did not get to either at low tide, so our shelling was not as successful as we had hoped. We did get some very nice shells from a woman who said her kids had too many so she was returning them to the beach. We walked by just as she was leaving and had a nice chat with her while we picked up some nice sand dollars. Eric and Jean also shared some of their shells with us, so we did get some reasonable souvenirs. We also made use of the kayaks and bikes. Kayaking on the canals was fun. I thought we would end up biking to the beaches, but we were able to drive and park. I am an early riser, getting up between 4 and 5AM each day to catch up on work. The desk and printer were a great help, but what was really fun was moving to the lanai just before sunrise and enjoying watching the sun come up over the palm trees and listening to the birds singing and mullets jumping. As my elder daughter's partner (an avid fisherman) reminded me, mullets are bait, but they are sure fun to watch as they jump around in the canal. Drinking my coffee or tea and lazily working while enjoying nature made each morning special. Of course, no place is perfect and Marco has its faults. Construction is booming, so each morning at 7AM, the workers began banging away on the two homes being built across the canal, adding to the noise from lawn care and air conditioners. That just comes with the territory in Marco. None of this really bothered us, but it did make my quiet sunrise experience each morning even more special. Evenings are also generally quiet as are weekends. The good news is that there are no more lots on this canal, so nearby construction noise will soon go away. The owners - Eric and Jean - were very nice and exceptionally responsive. Pretty much any questions we had were almost instantly answered.

The property is in a nice neighborhood, which is about the best thing we can say. Although the house was generally as advertised upon entering, we noticed that the carpets and furniture were in dingy condition. So much so that we had to hide one of the rugs before welcoming guests. The kitchen was adequately stocked, but the refrigerator was too small for a house that is supposed to accommodate up to 8 people, which we had. Then things started breaking down. First the front door lock needed batteries replaced, which we had to do under direction from the owner. A week later the shower handle in the master bedroom snapped. It was rusted. The owner called a plumber who fixes the stem but didn’t have the handle itself. The owner then asked me to put the handle on that he would order to save himself the cost of having the plumber come back. I didn’t think guests should be performing such repairs and he eventually hired a handyman to complete the job. Then other weird stuff began. First I noticed that the thermostat had been remotely locked at 77 degrees by the owners. I couldn’t get the house to a comfortable temperature without having to call the owner to give me back control, Another indication of his trying to save himself money at our expense. It wouldn’t be the last. More weirdness ensued. The house has surveillance cameras, hopefully just on the outside but who knows. I got a message one day telling me to close the cover on the dock lift box that had been inadvertently opened. At one point we left for a day to go to Miami for my daughters engagement party. I received a message saying that it appeared we had checked out. I told him we why we left, although it was none of his business. It was very creepy to feel like we were being watched all the time. There was construction across the canal that loudly started at 7 in the morning, waking us up. This was never disclosed. The house was cited for having an illegal downspout that was discovered when we called the police to help find our kids that were lost kayaking on the canals. .When we checked out, the owner then dinged us for a broken refrigerator drawer (which already badly damaged) some alleged damage to a loveseat for which he refused to provide evidence of and claimed the house was extremely filthy condition, charging us 500. We did Al that the rule required to clean. We believe he is trying to have us pay for repairing the sad condition of his property Awful.

Great owners, great neighbors, great island. We always have a fantastic experience when we stay here. Our only problem with this place is leaving it.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank the owners for a wonderful stay. We felt welcome and they covered all our needs at their home. The bikes, kayaks and beach equipment were high quality and made our trip extra special. The house was clean and filled with all the items you would need on a vacation. We had a great time, and can't wait to return.
