This property is rented out with a great deal of attention to what the renters will need. From the extremely well stocked kitchen, to the wonderfully fluffy & large towels, comfortable bed linens, a well equipped bar (bar glasses, utensils, blender etc), clear instructions regarding checkout & things to know about the house. We felt extremely comfortable the whole time we were there. Holly was great about checking in with us to see if we needed anything- but it was so well organized there was nothing we could ask for!

This home is so full of character. It was very clean, with everything there we needed. The host was in contact, and if we would have needed anything I'm sure it would have been taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The VRBO listing says check out is 11 am, but it is actually 10 am.

We loved Holly’s house! We had the pleasure of meeting her before we left and she goes above and beyond with pleasing her guests. We have stayed in a lot of rentals and as my husband told me when leaving this was one of the best so far! Holly has thought of everything for her well stocked kitchen. So many spices, olive oil, cooking utensils and dishes. There was even ice cream we helped ourselves to! I can’t say enough good things. We loved being out from the busy areas of Door County. We enjoyed driving through the beautiful countryside & only a 15 minute drive to Sturgeon Bay. We would definitely book again if we come back.

Beautiful location, quiet and friendly neighborhood. The cookies left by the host were delicious. We had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. I highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay, loved the throw back look inside. Holly was an amazing host and left us homemade cupcakes. She checked in with us the day of and again the next day to make sure we had everything. She also had great recommendations for food and things to do. I would highly recommend this place.

First trip to Door County for Girls Weekend. Home was so much more than we expected and absolutely spotless. Close enough to Sturgeon Bay, yet far enough away for peaceful relaxation. Holly was so welcoming and communication was great. Check in process was a breeze and Holly confirmed we made it without complications and were settled in. The morning of our departure, she checked in to make sure our stay was what we had hoped for. We are considering making this an annual trip!! My friends and I definitely recommend this home away from home for your next Door County getaway!!

Holly made my friends and me feel super welcome. the texting connection made me feel like she was available to help for any questions I had. The house was very warm and welcoming upon arrival. What a wonderful stay!

We chose this location for our Memorial Day weekend stay. Initially, we considered hotels/resorts, but since it was our first visit to Door County with our infant, we opted for a home stay. We were delighted with our discovery. Our 20-month-old was so content that leaving was the last thing on their mind. The check-in process was straightforward – the host provided clear instructions and made sure we settled in that night. Upon arrival, the place felt like home. It was immaculately clean, and the beds were comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare warm drinks for us and the baby. Additionally, the host prepared the best cupcakes, I have tasted in last few years, for Memorial Day. The location was conveniently close to all Door County attractions, with Cave Point County Park and Peninsula State Park less than a 45-minute drive away. Although we couldn't spend much time outdoors due to the insects, which I attribute to the constant rain, we plan to return with friends. This place can comfortably accommodate 8 people, if not more.

We stayed at this property for our first trip up to Door County. It is located in Sturgeon Bay on a quiet street with other residences nearby. It's on the opposite side of the water, but you can see the water from outside of the house (and access it down the road). The house is so spacious ane woule have fit us plus 6 other guests. There's a beauriful upstairs master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom/shower, and two lovely bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs as well. Holly was such a kind, communicative, generous hostess, and we are fortunate to have stumbled upon her well-maintained, beautiful, and spacious home. If you're coming from a big city like we did, the only thing I'd recommend being aware of is the fact that this is a more remote property where stores and amenities like gas, restaurants, and essentials will be at least a 20 minute or more drive to get to. And if you drive back any time past 8:45, it will be dark and you'll need to use your brights as you traverse the roads. You'll encounter beautiful wildlife, nature, and serenity at this property. Do not miss out!

It was cozy and comfotable. Great place to relax and isnt far from sturgeon bay. The only disappointing part was we didnt have use of the fireplace, we were hoping to get cozier with a fire.
