We have never had the issues with any comfort inn until we stayed at this one in Ellsworth, Maine.
We stayed on the first floor and the hall smelled of weed and cigarettes. As newly former smokers due to health issues it was a major disappointment to experience this.
Another issue was dogs. There were several occasions where dogs were barking, in a close by room as well as the hall. At one point we were trying to get the kids to bed and they started barking in the hall. Truly disappointed as we will never stay here again.

This Comfort Inn has to be one of my top 5 hotels I've stayed in in my 45 years of vacationing. Kudos to the management and their staff. You are made to feel at home from check in to check out. The hotel is so clean and supremely quiet which was awesome after a long drive. Thank you for your hospitality, we will recommend you always!

So impressed with this hotel. We stayed here in July and my daughter lost her iPhone watch,she didn't think it was here and never called to see, but checked when we arrived and they still had it.

2 nights in Maine cost us $700! A bit steep for a basic hotel

it was not the cleanest room I stayed in during the week. the room smelled of dog when i opened the door. fan and air conditioning was not the coolest. dogs were whining nearby and fighting

We stayed there with our dog and I have to say I was really impressed with the hotel and surrounding area. Not far to drive to Acadia Park. Well worth the price!

Next door to LL Bean outlet. Near mall areas. Room had faint smoking smell. Staff gave me product to remove smell. Toilet didn't flush well. Staff immediately helped again to solve issue. Train track in back. Visually have track or back of store front out window. Maintained well.
