This hotel is beautiful and iconic Service is slow and not what I would expect with a hotel of this caliber. Elevator was so slow we always took stairs, bar was so slow you usually wait 3-5 minutes before being acknowledged to be seated. Lots of guests in line left. Not acceptable service. The breakfast was OK and again very slow service

Hotel Le Negresco is without a doubt the most beautiful hotel in Nice. We stayed for 4 nights and the location, service and style is 5 stars. I have one complaint regarding the hotel bathroom. Our room had a very large bathroom with a beautiful claw foot tub - but no shower. The tub had a hand held nozzle with no place to rest it while showering (if you put it on the cradle water will spray onto the floor) and the shower curtain only closed 75%. For the cost of this hotel I expect much much more. Creative license aside, the bathroom must function by today's standards.

Hotel Negresco was very elegant and everything we could have wanted for our stay in Nice. The facility had a wonderful bar, beach, and restaurants on the property.

This is the the place to stay while visiting Nice. We took our parent's here for their 60th Anniversary and Hotel and staff were fantastic. We ate breakfast daily at La Rotonde' restaurant on property for a perfect start to the day. We also had a last meal at the beach restaurant La Plage du Negresco. The classic style and ambiance was fabulous!

Best hotel in Nice. Also the most expensive. Great location on the Promenade de Anglais. The inside is like a museum with numerous works of art. Staff were very courteous and friendly.

The room variation is large. We stayed in room with old air condition. Doors and closets cannot be closed fully.

Some people from the staff look not interested in what they are doing, inclusive seems to us they don’t want to do their jobs. The most disappointing service was in the bar. The concierge team were wonderful. The breakfast was boring with limited options. The waiters do not understand English

We had a terrible night sleep, if we even had any. The room was pricey given it was a suite, which was fine, but the windows let all of the noise in from the main roads outside. We rang reception at 2.44am and asked to move rooms. They did not have a same level room or higher, that didn't face the ocean/road view but we had no sleep so said literally anything not road facing that will be quiet will be great. We moved to a room which smelt foisty and all we could hear was a loud humming coming from the middle of the hotel as we opened the window sounds like units on the roof. Really too loud. So we moved back to the first room, just dealing with the fact we felt like we was asleep next to the road, 5 levels up. The scooters are so loud, loud cars, and to top it off the hotel has traffic lights outside it, so when going to green they accelerate fast and the noise just keeps you awake. I can't seem to see how anyone with a sea view could not hear it all night, it literally is so loud, all night. I booked this hotel as i thought it was the best in Nice after our fight got cancelled but unless they get secondary glazing to mute the noises i don't understand how anyone could sleep here without earplugs. Food in the brasserie and the American bar was nice however and staff friendly.
