When we checked in Pia represented the hotel. She was very personable, efficient and professional. There is no a/c so she provided a fan. It rained two of the days and the hotel provided umbrellas. We went green so when we requested more coffee pods Pia was there with a sack full!! We had a small issue in the restaurant with the bill but the General Manager took care of it professionally and swiftly. Highly recommend this hotel. Rooms clean, comfy and opening the window cooled the room sufficiently but a little noisy on the river view. Well worth the noise!!!

The best location and very nice staff!

First off I’m giving 4 stars but only because of staff. The location is excellent and so convenient and would definitely stay again. It was clean and I also like how comfortable the bed and pillows were. Th reason for just 4 stars is because we arrived at the hotel around 2 pm and I told the girl nicely, “we’re just a bit early but wondering if we could check in”. She replied very flatly and not welcoming at all “well first we need to check if you even have a reservation”, walked away told another girl to check us in. Very rude and unkind. Anywho the girl that ended up checking us in was nice but didn’t really offer additional details on the hotel like what time was breakfast etc. oh well, maybe that’s how it’s done there. Also, there was a girl a breakfast, didn’t catch her name, but she was wonderful and very welcoming. She had short hair, kinda like a bob if I recall. Overall great stay.

No AC on summers is unacceptable, it was imposible to have a confort sleep even with a fan provided.

Easy, relaxing stay . We are family of 4 adults - mum, dad and sons 21& 19 . We landed and got the train straight there . Coop across the road great for grabbing a breakfast, lunch , drinks etc . The hotel has a mini bar / fridge to store your own food . Only stayed / nights . We used the hotel as a base - great location to walk out transport links . We did not eat in the hotel but we did go to local restaurants very close by in a vibrant busy part of town . There was a street festival going on as it was August, lovely buzz atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were very nice quality. We did have a river view room but the slats obscured the window slightly in the window was very small so didn’t really get the benefit of being able to sit and look out the window. This didn’t really hinder our enjoyment but just worth pointing out if you’re expecting something different. In terms of things to do . We got the boat as a self tour to lint factory. We stayed in the area and went to a beach club . It was less crowded and lower price than central Zurich . We would consider staying here again if we stayed in Zürich. We found the price point the location and the convenience of this hotel to be ideal for what we were looking for.

The staff and location are perfect. The overall property could use an upgrade. The room I was in was small and the property has no AC. Only some sort of room air flow system that was useless in the August heat. A fan was provided upon request that did help a little. I would recommend an upgrade of the facilities and include the breakfast with all rooms, but keep the staff they were amazing

Great location . Close to trains and trams and the tourist attractions of the old town . Overlooking the river. The rooms however were rather cramped and with no air-conditioning during the hot summer it was unpleasant to be in the room after midday. They did supply a fan on request but it did little to alleviate the heat of the room. We had not realised that there was air-con only in the main hotel areas and not in the individual rooms unfortunately. Breakfast was ok but was an additional cost which probably wasn't value for money

The location of the hotel was perfect for getting around the city using public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable. When we checked out there were charges on our room that weren’t ours, but the front desk resolved the problem.

Unlike the beautifully depicted rooms advertised, our room was a tiny, sloped ceiling, attic room on the top floor. The A/C was completely inadequate which necessitated us to open the window and the noise from the city below made it impossible to sleep. Towels, toiletries, and hair dryer were sub-standard. Not worth the rate we paid.

We loved the location. Staff were fantastic, especially the friendly breakfast manager. Why would you stay anywhere else in Zurich?

Great location and lovely hotel on the river. Great staff & clean. Every hotel I stayed at in Europe offered breakfast free with your room price, this one did not it was extra.
