A bit run down. Uninterested staff. Noisy. Too hard bed as always in Germany

Nice, clean, hotel. However I struggled to get food on the first two night I stayed. The restaurant was closed on Sundays and Mondays. There’s no takeouts or restaurants near by so had to order food through an app to the room. It’s on the top of a very large bank. It was a bit of a killer walking up and down everyday. I didn’t get any food on my stay so can’t comment. They have a gym but again I didn’t bother. Overall, I’d say nice for an overnight but not very interesting.

God location close to the city center. Unoroffesional reception personel and the hotel in need of renovation. Nice breakfast and overall ok considering the price.

A good hotel with nice rooms, baths and a good breakfast. Car park on site. Up the hill from the centre of town.

I can really recommend this Hotel. The room were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Clean and nice bathroom, good breakfast and good dinner in the restaurant.

Very nice Hotel Spacious room with 3 Beds (I was alone) Nice bathroom. Unfortunately, I forgot my swimming suit and could not experience thespa and the swimming pool. A bit noisy for the rooms with a view on the main street

We were really positively surprised.Very clean place, everything worked as it was supposed to. Breakfast buffet was great. Everything you could dream of was there. Fresh and good. Regarding parking they have some free places if you get there early. We paid 8€ for having our car in a closed area run by the hotel.

I have stayed in both Giessen and Wetzlar a few times but this was my first time at the Michel Hotel. The check in staff were excellent and extremely friendly and accomodating and keen to make you feel welcome. The rooms are a good size with modern fittings and very comfortable along with tea & coffee facilites which make a welcome change. The breakfast is varied and excellent quality although at around 8am the tables were a premium so would suggest going a little earlier to avoid teh stampede if possible. the location is excellent with a 10 minute stroll into town where there are several places to eat and drink if you do not fancy teh hotel. I ate in teh Hotel sports bar one night and the food was very good with excellent service again. I would definitely stay here again but the only feedback would be that check out was a little slow as only one person on the desk and additonal costs for parking but otherwise an excellent hotel and would definitely stay again.

AC turned off automatically every 6-8 hours. Staff (reception) was not familiar with the options for buying groceries in the area. They just sent me to to Forum (a shopping center 10 minute drive away but you have other options like EDEKA 3 minutes away) Parking is a mess at this hotel if you don't want to pay extra for parking. WIFI is VERY slow. A big plus for the kitchen and bar staff from Champs.

Nice and friendly place to stay for some nights. Good beds and breakfast. Condition building has te be fixed. Lots of young people around who have their sport competitions.
