This was a wonderful resort to visit. The room and the grounds were clean, the food was amazing, and the staff was very welcoming. We would definitely return to this resort if traveling to Costa Rica.

My husband and I stayed here for the second half of our honeymoon trip. This was both of our first times at an all-inclusive resort so we were very excited. We truly had such an amazing, relaxing time! All of the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and very accomodating of our limited Spanish. The entertainment team had fun events each night. We really enjoyed trying each restaurant and found the food to be quite good everywhere we went. The quality of the alcoholic drinks changed a tiny bit depending on the bar/restaurant we went to, but we were overall quite happy with all of the drinks we tried. We loved hanging around the pools all day. The housekeeping staff were also very quick and did such a great job keeping our room tidy, stocked, and comfortable during our stay. We also saw many of the local animals around the resort. The monkeys were so cute, but we made sure to lock our patio doors as recommended because they surely would have tried to come in if they had the chance! We did not try any of the excursions, as we had already done a few on the first half of our trip at a local vacation rental. We were so happy with our experience, though, that we will be looking at other Dreams locations for future vacations!

Dining options were outstanding. The staff was very professional and courteous. The property is beginning to show its age, could use a rehab.

The property need a lot of better attention and a better service.

All in all we had a great time. The property was beautiful and if you wake up early enough there is plenty of Monkey entertainment. The staff was very friendly. The pools, rooms, and bathrooms were all very clean. Plenty of pool space for everyone to be spread out. Our favorite food was the poolside grill and the buffet. We tried the seaside grill and Italian and it was not that great. Overall it is well worth it for the price.

This was a great resort the only bad thing is there is lots of walking to get from one place to the other.

It’s a nice property overall but a bit underwhelming. The room was spacious but the air conditioning malfunctioned making the room freezing. It couldn’t t be adjusted. The dining experience was below expectations. Every night we had to wait for 30min to 1h to be seated. The food was below expectations. I enjoyed the buffet more because I could choose what I wanted and I didn’t have to wait for the food. Same for breakfast. At the pool was difficult to find chairs available unless I came early. The food and the drinks at the pool bars/restaurant were also very average and there was always a line. Night time - there was nothing to do. It’s a family resort so expect lots of kids running around.

Easy access, have my private pool, friendly monkeys, very spacious and luxurious room. Have my room cleaned twice daily, everyone very nice and super friendly, treated you like royalty.

My husband and I really enjoyed this property We decided to go to Costa Rica to celebrate My birthday and Mother's Day and we were not disappointed. The property smd the rooms were very clean. The service was top-notch and the food was amazing. We definitely recommend this resort.

Perfect place for a beach wedding! Staff was beyond amazing.

I had a great room. The staff was very good. Need additional lighting in certain areas of the resort, such around the pools and walkways.

Positives and negatives- We went to dreams from April 23rd to the 29th. The beach is okay. Water temp about 80 degrees. We went snorkeling on both sides by the rocks and down the middle. Alot of seaweed,sargasm. Walk down towards the left if you want to swim. Restaurants are ok. Enjoyed pancakes and waffles at Portofino, Ceviche at Oceana, enjoyed the Mexican, italian and Japanese restaurants. Some breakfast foods were gressy(egg sandwich)and some lunch foods were cold (wings and fries). Room was beautiful but our ac in master bedroom went out 3 nights out of the 6. We had a preferred club one bedroom master suite. There is nothing preferred at this resort. Everyone was allowed in preferred club pool, in preferred section of beach and at preferred bar. You had access to preferred lounge but the ac in the lounge is on low. Pools are beautiful, many to choose from. Resort is far from airport and excursions. If I could save you some time and energy DO NOT GO ON NATURE HIKE. IT IS THE SAME TRAIL AS ATV AND HORSEBACK RIDING. IT IS FULL OF POOP. We saw more wildlife on the property. We went for a wedding. Ceremony and reception were outside. In 95 degree weather, they should have reception indoors.
