The staff at the reception were extremely unpleasant. The next day, my schedule changed, and I simply wanted to know if I could cancel my breakfast, but the reception staff got angry and seemed to be trying to lecture me. He said, "Do you know why your reservation can't be canceled? You can't cancel because you booked through Expedia, not directly through Marriott," and got angry. Once again, I was simply curious if it was possible. "I still can't understand why that staff got angry with me." I had intentionally booked a 5-star hotel because it was the last stop of my trip, but it turned out to be a bad memory. This was a level of service I had never experienced at other Marriott hotels. There was no help at all with my luggage, and the bathroom was very cramped.

Location not ideal for old town or touring. We did not have a car however.

We were in 7 countries in 30 days. Hotel was the 2nd worst. Dark decor was depressing, the rooms were smallest we had on trip for like priced hotels. The location is good but that is about all the good I can say. Everything else very average.

Le Meridien was excellent. Less expensive than some in the area. Staff was wonderful and location was excellent.

This is a wonderful traditional facility. Very comfortable beds and variety of rooms. Restaurant including breakfast is excellent. Good fitness room and excellent sauna. Old town is very entertaining to walk and enjoy food and drink.

Air conditioner was not working in the room. As we checked in late we did not realize until we weee getting ready for bed. When we told them on the morning no apology not even recognition that this was a problem. Will not stay here again

i was very disapointed the menu for dining was limited....no fish, or pasta, only hamburgers, and the steak which i did enjoy but i would have liked fish one night...i ate dinner every night there....staff was curtious, and i received my meal timely....i was happy to see vegan on the menu by the way : ))

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Meridien. Clean rooms with great AC for the hot months. Super close to the city center and sites to walk and enjoy. Parking is a bit clunky, so be prepared for that but overall it was a great place to be and would highly recommend.

Hotel is nice and clean in comparison to others in Nuremberg. I had a deluxe room but its certainly not deluxe by deluxe standards. Area is located convenient to all. Staff could be just a little friendly but I suppose its a German protocol to be firm and cold.

We had a "delux room, 1 king bed" but found the room and the bathroom quite small. With someone sitting at the desk it was not possible to walk around the bed. Also the hotel invoice and the Expedia quote were difficult to reconcile as the hotel charged breakfast separately (Expedia quoted breakfast as included), and the hotel includes tax in the rate while Expedia quotes tax separately. The hotel is convenient for walking into the walking streets of the old town.

Outstanding historic and beautiful hotel. Excellent breakfast and dinner in luxurious dining room. Wonderful talented and charming staff. Fabulous room.
