The Hotel as with all the Paradors we have stayed with is basically excellent value for money. We were less than enchanted with the service we received at the restaurant at our evening meal . The drinks we ordered whilst we were perusing the menu never appeared, likewise the bottle of wine. When we were finally able to bring this to the waiters attention our main courses had almost finished. The bottle of wine duly appeared on the bill. Next night with a change of mainly female staff things were a lot better, like a normal restaurant. Why did we go the second night? the hotel is some distance from the bars and restaurants of Segovia and luckily it was a better experience. To conclude I would recommend Segovia and the Parador to anyone but be a bit more assertive than we were with any bad service.

This Paradores has a nice view of the Segovia old town. It was great enjoying the swimming pool.

The hotel is fabulous but the restaurant food is absolutely awful. When we told the waiter, (three out of the four dishes were dreadful. The fourth was just ok) he responded with ‘yes I know’ and took away the plates. The staff were totally indifferent. We were not complaining for compensation but the way we were treated makes me think we should have had some.

The bedrooms have balconies overlooking Segovia which is lovely. Staff in reception very helpful. The bathrooms are in need of modernisation. No tea/coffee facilities or kettle in the rooms

Despite being a little far out to walk into Segovia, the hotel is in a great location with fantastic views- some of the best we’ve experienced in a hotel.

Sadly, the weather was not kind during our stay, so we were not able to sunbathe by the pool, which was what we had intended. That looked great, and is a big asset of the hotel. Otherwise, it seemed fairly average, not beautiful architecturally, and with mixed service. We did not find the food to be very good.
In the right circumstances we can see this would be a good place to stay, so enjoy the stunning view over Segovia and to swim, but for us it was unexceptional.

Air conditioning switched off as late September is classed as Autumn - so no Air Con! Far too warm. Had to leave window open so too noisy.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 4 year old. Frosty check in. Only 2 bath towels supplied. Dried toothpaste in the plastic cup from the previous visitors. Bed mat/towel stained with what looked like blood. Balcony floor sticky, lumpy pillows. Cleaning spray left in bathroom by cleaner. The balcony gave onto the bins which we could smell and therefore did not use, also we were woken by the refuse collection at 3am and 8am. Upon check out we were not asked regarding our stay. Poor customer service. Very, very disappointing for Paradores. Will definitely not be staying again.

Room was not ready at check in time. One of the cleaning staff was not wearing mask while cleaning. Overall, this is and old building, and rooms are not kept in good condition. Fantastic views. Quiet and beautiful place. Overpriced.
