Was the base hotel for beginning the Camino. Burgos is a friendly town.

Well located, nice room, staff very helpful

Good location. Safe in room did not work. Called staff and they had no idea how to fix it and did not seem to care

My stay at this property was wonderful. Room was clean and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Close to restaurants, and Burgos Cathedral and Plaza. I would recommend a stay at this property while visiting Burgos.

We were surprised at how nice the rooms were—large and nicely appointed. Beds were comfy. I'd definitely stay again. We had a little difficulty getting to the hotel because we didn't realize it was in a restricted zone and that we had to use an intercom at the barrier to gain entrance.

This was a huge suite, on two levels. We'd asked for a cathedral view and we certainly got one - excellent. Lovely suite and the hotel was so central to everything. We wished we were staying another night.. Maybe next time.

Hotel and room were very nice. Room was comfortable most of evening but A/C quit during the night and it got too warm.

Moved last minute from one hotel to sister hotel, no where near were we wanted to be, said they had to close due to maintenance but seemed to still be open, not sure how that works? Lady on desk at check in didn’t have a great attitude, staff at breakfast were nice but breakfast itself was terrible.

The room is cold, and heating is just an A/C or (if you request it) a small portable device that is also by air. Room is big as a suite, but not suitable for winter season.

Be aware rising bollard on entry to Old City area in evening. Once at hotel parking in Garage 20euros. Breakfast 15euros otherwise a excellent Hotel quiet and comfortable, in the heart of Burgos.

Nice hotel and location let down by the service. We booked because of food reviews but we were unable to get a drink at the bar although pressed the button as instructed to get service waited for ages but no one came and the tasting menu was not appealing . Breakfast was a disaster and the waiter clearing tables was in a dream and so miserable nearly all tables had signs of previous guests and the buffet was either all empty or non existent . On requesting the hot be refilled as empty it took 20 minutes for it to appear . No plates no glasses and had to keep asking for items needed . Disappointed as it had excellent reviews for its breakfast. We did eat in the hotels associated restaurant in the square Puerta Real which the hotel receptionist recommended and gave us a leaflet that gave us 5% off out restaurant bill it was excellent and made up for disappointment at the hotel. Burgos was worth a visit and it should be noted that sat Nav takes you the right way to hotel but be aware there is a bollard system into the town which is confusing if you are not aware but you have to follow instructions advise you are staying at the hotel and it will allow entry good luck finding the hotel!!!! I got a cut on my head and was bleeding, and the staff immediately gave me an ice bag, which stopped the bleeding. After that whenever I went by the front desk, the receptionist always asked how I was doing. This was very appreciated. The breakfast buffet was OK, but not excellent. It should be avoided when there is a large tour group eating.
