The staff was excellent at both the restaurant and the Maro kids club The property is very busy and there doesn't seem to be enough seating at any of the three pools.

Accommodation blocks a bit dated but rooms have have updated. Food good and beer/wine fine. Soft drinks with meals poor. Very clean resort with lots of staff. Lots of young children. Expect to pay for almost all activities (including sun beds at the beach). This is clearly stated if you look at the hotel website - I missed it though on the Expedia site. Overall a relaxing week. Enjoyed it.

Swimming pool was disappointing, after breakfast no bed avaible. No pool towels, had to wait for 1,5 hours. The staff didn’t do anything

Visiting porec but stay over at Valamar Tamaris resort. Peaceful after busy days. So much to do for family with children. Would love to stay longer.

Great facilities but the dining experience was awful. One restaurant, full of queues, little variety and HUGE amounts of noise. If you tried to move to another on site restaurant ( as part of the all inclusive package) you had to book 48 hours in advance and even then it was a limited set menu.
If it rains, as it did for us on most days there is very little to do and space is compromised.
The noise from the entertainment was overwhelming and went on till around 1130 hrs most nights.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have stayed at all inclusive resorts before and not enjoyed the food or the level of cleanliness. This was an exception. The location was terrific, right by the ocean. There were several pools to select to spend your time also. The food was varied and good. Wine and beer were included with dinner. We enjoyed a road trip to Porec and Rovinj which were easily accessible by car. This place is especially great for families with school aged children. There were many children's activities, but they sometimes cost extra. The beds were incredibly comfortable too!

You would need a car if you want to visit local area as there isn't much in walking distance apart from the complex itself. Only downside was the amount of smoke from smokers in the bar and entertainment areas. As this is a sporting/fitness complex, I would have thought that smoking would have been banned for health reasons.
