Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable, bed was comfortable. Bar area was nice and relaxing even though it was busy with people celebrating Christmas.

Great stay, convenient location, with the ability to add parking onto your booking, which was handy if you want everything covered when you arrive. Staff were friendly and formal on the front desk, and during breakfast. So polite you feel like a VIP.
Room was in good condition, but signs of wear, and no bin bag. Nothing wrong with that though as it was comfy and amenable.

we stayed in a crown plaza pre lockdown and the breakfast was easily the best We'd had in a long time in a hotel, since lockdown we've stayed in a crown plaza twice,Newcastle being the 2nd time and on both occasions the breakfast has been bang average eg in the quality of the ingredients, Sausage, black pudding and the kippers.

found it difficult to regulate the temperature without getting drafts of cold air from the air conditioning. (I do not like air conditioning) On asking I did get a second duvet to have a warm bed but cool room.
Toilet cistern kept running and not filling which I couldn't rectify on the last morning.
The carpet had a sticky mark outside the bathroom.
Staff very helpful and food was excellent.

Alex at the desk was lovely she let us check in early as we were there before 3. The room was so nice and the spa was good!

Hotel was very clean and spacious. Gym was adequate and the pool was nice, although a little cold. There were events going on both days when we stayed there which made it a bit hectic when checking in. The rooms were very spacious and clean with a large bathroom. Overall, a good place to stay, but it gets very crowded and noisy in communal spaces downstairs.

The stay started with an awkward experience where I was given the wrong room. Efforts to change the room were not friendly at all and I was delayed for a while. After calls to hotel.com for intervention, I was later promised a better room and this they did after 2 days. The hotel experience was however very nice as the food was excellent and the team of workers were very helpful. It was eventually a very good experience

We booked one night as we needed a place to stay close to the train station. This place served the purpose nicely. It isn't anything extraordinary and breakfast could have been a little nicer but I would stay here again if I needed to.

Everything was perfect and go to this crowne plaza Newcastle Stephenson quarter for a break everytime visiting Newcastle or for just an overnight break when nearby. Thank you will be back again. 5***** every visit.

The hotel is located behind the Newcastle railway station and was walkable with luggage, albeit better to come through the underpass to the right as you leave the station to reduce climbs. The hotel was very nice and notwithstanding we came in on a lunchtime train, they had a room available for immediate checkin. Our room was spacious, including a nice bathroom wit( an excellent shower. Breakfast choices were excellent and we enjoyed our breakfasts. Our only minor negative were the staff behind the bar in the Gin Bar who had to be prompted to get service.

Amazing stay, one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed in! So well located for Newcastle and train up to Edinburgh yet situated in a quiet area only 5mins walk into town. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Staff were very friendly, special mention to Dawn who cleaned our room, she is a credit to your company! Can’t wait to return.

Always love staying here, nice bar, good size room, pool and hot tub. Prices are cheap and staff are always so nice
