Excellent hotel all around. Best location in the beach. Sea facing rooms have breathtaking views even from lower floors. Beautiful lobby with nightly entertainment, sometimes a bit loud but good quality and not audible in rooms. Fantastic breakfast and dinner buffets. Nice, helpful staff. Most guests are European retirees. Convenient parking in the underground garage. Plenty of great restaurants in the immediate area, reasonable prices.

We had a problem with our first room due to faulty air conditioning it was very soon rectified with a different room , which was nothing more than you would expect from a hotel of this standard

Can’t fault anything else other the fact I asked reception if they could do a little something to mark our anniversary on the 12 April, I even suggested some chocolate writing on pudding plate as didn’t expect much but all was forgotten.

The dining room has panoramic sea views and the breackfasts are amazing. There is a supermarket in the basement which is super convenient. The location of the hotel is perfect for shops bars and restaurants.

The Gran Hotel Soly Mar is simply wonderful, the hotel is clean and stylish, the staff are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The dining room has panoramic sea views and the breackfasts are amazing. There is a supermarket in the basement which is super convenient. We loved this hotel… we had a room with a sea view which was worth paying extra for 🌅 The room was clean and well presented. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The breakfast was great with a large variety to suit all. The pool area was good but a little small for the size of hotel. It was difficult to get beds at times. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to any friends travelling to Calpe.

Booked queens bed got two singles pushed together. Staff at reception not particularly helpful. Lack of information about facilities ie spa, and entertainment. Need more sun beds with parasols. Generally not a friendly and welcoming hotel.
