Majority of everything was good except my dog found a capsule on the ground next to the bed… Also part of the carpet was wet, the carpets definitely old and quite ragged.
Bed was comfortable, the floor we were on was kind of noisy, lots of people coming and going in doors slamming.
I do like this Hotel, as well as the staff and how friendly they are.
Good blackout blinds, comfortable bed, they even offer dog beds or bowls if needed.

We stayed one night at Westing Monache Resort for a short Eastern Sierra fall color trip. The hotel is quite nice, and the room is more like a studio apartment with stove top, dish washer, pots, pan, plates, and utensils. But we ate in the restaurant, which is quite good for taste, quantity, and service. Checking in was fairly quick, except they sent us to the wrong room. So, we had to go back to the front desk. They don't have any rooms with double beds, and the sofa bed was not comfortable. The free self-parking garage worked out well, and the complimentary water in the room and morning coffee in the lobby were nice.

The cleanliness standards and service have decreased significantly. They replaced all pillows at the hotels with some cheap and lumpy ones. We had really hard time sleeping. I asked to replace my set with a newer one, but I had to follow up on my request two more times during the day. Moreover, our bed comforter had a stain prior our arrival, we left a note for the cleaning personnel to replace it, but they didn’t care about the note, we ended up with the same comforter. Also, the restaurant downstairs, even though with good food, had really dirty tables. One hot tub was closed and another didn’t have working jets. Yet, they charged us ~$450 per night. Not really the service of a 4 star hotel, what a shame!!!

Also, was quoted $25 for valet parking online and was told it had changed to $35 at desk. A second staff member rudely chimed in when I tried to explain this and said “well, the price just changed and it is what it is.”

Food was straight from the Sysco truck.
Bathroom was worse than a hospital bathroom in design- quite shocking!
Hair on the floor on arrival.
No path to parking area other than a hill path that guests have created which is steep and slippery.

Amazing stay with excellent staff service. Suite had a very nice kitchen with everything we needed. Steps from village with shops, restaurants and free buses to all areas. Would absolutely stay again!!!

The best hotel ever! Beautiful (so many windows!), clean, the very best service! Every staff member is kind an accommodating. So many special perks for your pups. The location is perfect, right on the village with lots of shops and restaurants. I would love to stay here again for a longer amount of time.
