Receptionist was a Bit grumpy and did not welcomed us. One of these days. Room service was ok - but on the expensive side in relation to portion. Taste and freshness was good

Work trip the Valladolid, this was an easy to get hotel, very clean and nice staff.

Comfortable hotel with helpful staff. Second visit but still had problems finding the hotel - no signage at ground level and difficult to see in the dark! Lousy directions from Google Maps didn't help.

Nice hotel, you can walk to the centre. Parking is exspensive and only two cars used it, around 40parking bays! Cheaper parking in current times would be €8 not €15.

We booked the hotel as a stopover en route from Southern Spain to the ferry at Santander. We had stayed at other nh hotels in Spain and we weren't disappointed with the Balago. We arrived around 8 pm after a 500 mile trip and found that our car with a roof box would not go into the underground car park! Pedro on the front desk was brilliant and organised safe parking outside the hotel. While we were unloading the car he prepared the meals we ordered from the vending machines in the lobby so we were able to eat in our room and relax before enjoying a sleep in the HUGE beds - two 4 ft beds! We had a substantial continental breakfast in the morning and continued our journey fully refreshed. We shall continue to book nh hotels whenever possible as they provide a quality service at a very reasonable price and the staff are always attentive, friendly and helpful.

Looked after me very well despite the additional restrictions and policies put on place due to Coronavirus alert. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Hotel underground parking perfect too with large spaces . I would definitely stay again.

We have stayed with our dog 12 times and been very happy Until this time then,to be turned away as Their policy has changed , after a long drive , was not aware so had to find another hotel, with the help of the Hotel receptionist who was nice

Breakfast with a lot of choices, my room (suite) was really big & the bed was comfortable. I recomand this hotel

Excellent service, Pedro at the front desk was awesome,!! Thank you for the sports talk! Clean, modern rooms; nice walking distance to downtown, about 10 minutes!

Our double room was very nice but unfortunately, smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Rooms need to be vetted by someone before next guests arrive. We were given an alternative twin room which did not have the tea/coffee facilities that the previous room offered and the receptionist wasn't prepared to rectify this. Overall, disappointing.

Generally the value of money I spent in this hotel not correspond to facilities I got, it was not good experience for me, it first time I use your site, usually I use to used booking come they were provide me with better options

Typical 4* NH hotel. Excellent rooms, very quiet. Good bedrooms Staff helpful and friendly. Underground parking pricey at E15
