The check-in reception staff could benefit from some additional training in customer service. During my recent experience, I found them to be less patient and not as helpful in directing guests to their rooms. Perhaps some additional guidance on how to assist guests with navigating the elevators would be beneficial.

Excellent experience all around! The reception, spa, restaurant and housekeeping staff were all fantastic and very helpful. The location is great- within walking distance of many restaurants and shops on the back side and immediately adjacent to a long sea-side promenade at the front. The common areas including the restaurant, spa, pool and beach are beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Also appreciated that the sea-side chairs and spa access are included. The room was also beautiful, spacious, very comfortable and the view was amazing as was the buffet breakfast. Highly recommend!!

Very simply, the best Hotel We have ever stayed at the facilities and staff are amazing, the rooms are incredibly comfortable and the views of the harbour are stunning, we were only let down by the weather, we will definitely return for more!!❤️

We truly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous hotel. The entire staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating making our stay so enjoyable.
From the arrival, when we are welcomed with fresh flowers and welcome notes, until the last day. Hotel Liburnia/Ambasador is so fortunate to have such an amazing team: Marina Srbljanin, Danijela, Timka, Veljko, and Magdalena, just to name a few who made our stay so wonderful.
Our room was clean, and very comfortable, with a wonderful view of Opatija, and the Adriatic sea. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Opatija. We have stayed at many hotels, but this was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.
