Loved our stay at Marvie. All Staff were really helpful including reception, pool bar (Valentine), waiters (Josip) and housekeepers. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Marvie Hotel provided a fabulous base for a lovely holiday in Split. It is in walking distance to the Old Town and there are supermarkets nearby. We liked Trstenik beach which was a short walk away as it was much quieter than the very popular Bacvice beach.
The hotel staff were very helpful, we arrived early and made use of the baggage storage area. When we checked in, everything was processed quickly and with a friendly attitude.
We had 2 rooms, a twin bed courtyard view room and a sea view balcony room. Both were clean with everything one could need.
The breakfast buffet had something for everyone, we had an early start for a day trip one day so we requested a Breakfast Bag - these were great, although on hindsight I should have asked for one to be vegetarian - perhaps this could be mentioned in future.
We had two evening meals at the restaurant, the service was excellent and the meals were delicious as well as being very reasonably priced.
The wellness centre is a real plus for the hotel and a lovely place to enjoy when the August heat got a little too much. I had a facial which was so relaxing! Try the tropical storm setting in the Experience Shower - it’s great!
The rooftop pool and bar are great, it can be crowded but it’s not really an issue.
When it was time to go home, the reception staff arranged a taxi for us which was cheaper than the one we got from the airport.
Overall, we had a great time at the Marvie Hotel and would recommend it.

Nice hotel, but beware its 25 minutes fast walk to the town centre. Room was good, very large, plenty of storage. Could improve the coffee at breakfast and some free drinking water by the rooftop pool.

The Marvie was a fantastic hotel for our stay in Split. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the view from our balcony provided gorgeous views and the roof deck was even better. The free breakfast was fantastic too.

Lovely hotel but view of a building site opposite was not the ‘partial sea view’ I had paid a premium for. Book with caution - if you want a sea view it will have to be on the 4th or 5th floors and don’t think a ‘partial sea view’ means that - it’s only a vey few of the rooms have a limited sea view between gaps in buildings from the lover floors. My issue is with Expedia’s description rather than the hotel itself but there is an unfinished building site as the view from the majority of floors/rooms and the area around the hotel is pretty dirty and smelly - dustbins in surrounding area were overflowing and with them unpleasant smells!

The pics fooled us. This is a very avg hotel that added the word “health” to attract visitors. The hotel is 20 min from the cool city center w/ all the good restaurants & vibe. The rooftop pool was very small and there were times where no chairs were available. The building in front of the hotel is abandoned. We had trouble booking deep tissue massages b/c we think there is only (1) therapist & she was young, not that friendly & needed much more training because it was far from deep tissue. In the upside, the front desk staff were incredible, friendly and very helpful!

The hotel was OK, just OK and as premium prices were paid, the following observations are noted:
- Staff was friendly, helpful.
- The location was good.
- Amenities (pool, restaurant, views) were OK.
- Easy access to transportation.
- The facility could use some much needed maintenance.
o The carpet in our rooms (we stayed in 2 different ones) we in need of deep cleaning/replacement.
o The bathrooms showed signs of wear.
- The staff seemed minimal. This was noted by the staff members themselves
