A great find just metres from the Frauenkirche. From start to finish, all went well. The ‘Junior’ room (509) I booked was spacious with a great bathroom including tub and separate shower cubicle. All mod cons were catered for and the breakfast was 1st class. The main selling point is however the location. About 20 minutes walk from the main station and right at the ‘Neumarkt’. Bed was comfortable although the church bells were a distraction until I closed the windows. Not a fan of hanging clothes in the washing area if I’m honest but was Ok for my 2 nights.
2 things stopped this from being a perfect stay. The internet was OK but not great and I experienced a number of ‘drop outs’. Speed was also average (10-20 Mbps is not really good enough for a hotel of this class). My other beef was the availability of electrical points. Whilst there, they were not in convenient positions and I had to hunt them down.
Other than that, a really nice stay in the centre of Dresden.

Cannot say enough good things really. Lovely hotel, wonderful staff, great value, roof-top bar, awesome breakfast, right on the doorstep of so many cultural, dining and drinking spots. Dresden is an absolute gem and the Townhouse is a top hotel.

We absolutely love Townhouse Dresden, it was our second stay, the location is perfect, the rooms are beautiful and luxurious, the beds are super comfortable. The staff is very nice and accommodating, we will always come back.

The staff was superb from check in to check out. Highlights include the awesome gym on the top floor and super breakfast. Beautiful property and very clean. Perfect central location.

Not cheap but for sightseeing in Dresden - in the centre of the old town, within easy walking distance to all the museums, palaces and treasures Dresden offers. Plenty of restaurants nearby too with delicious fresh seasonal food.

Townhouse Dresden is a lovely hotel perfectly situated in Dresden. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the square. Easy walk to the main sights, restaurants, etc. We thought the 28 euro Breakfast was too expensive so we opted to get breakfast at nearby restaurant.
