We booked a disabled room for our friend who cannot walk over 6 months ago. No room available when we arrived so he could not wash or go to the toilet! Staff not interested and blamed in on Expedia who we booked with. Staff were rude and uninterested in our predicament. When we got home claimed we lost a key and not paid room tax ?? Second bad experience with Campanile and we will never use them again Bad, bad customer service!!

Nice quiet Hotel on outskirts of town. Couple of restaurants nearby and 1 pub. Several supermarkets so good for a short stay. Hotel standard campanile, clean and tidy.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were adequate for what we wanted.

Room was smoky, by that I mean there are houses very near and they were bbq'ing in their gardens and the smoke was blowing in to my room. 12.90Euro's for a chicken breast fillet in a bun which had curry sauce in it isn't what I waited 40 minutes for. The bun was almost inedible and the chicken was touch to bite.

Stayed here 5 years ago, the condition of the rooms hasn't improved since then.

The hotel was good barring the lavotory pan which wasn't at all good. Badly soiled + residue from previous guest. Bedding etc excellent comfortable and not expensive good tea and coffee facilities. A bath which isn't common in France , most welcome here.

Clean and Tidy hotel. Not much going on in St. Dizier. The hotel is on the edge of town in a retail area. Not many eating options, a Potato restaurant or the hotel itself. Ok for stop over.

Since last using the Campanile group these hotels have had a makeover to a less fussy modern style, although the rooms are the same. I was very comfortable and everything I needed was available. As it was a Sunday in March the hotel was very quiet but the staff were pleasant and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the food but you get what you pay for I guess. It was adequate for a one-night stopover.

Restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced - with a great salad and tasty desert buffet bar from which you could take as much as you liked. Rooms are nice. My only qualm is that it was a bit cold and the small electric blow heater wasn't quite enough. The duvet was rather thin as were the pillows. The bedding didn't match the snow white fat puffy duvet in the online advert.

I ordered and paid for a non smoking triple room. I received a small double room, that stank of smoking. The double bed only fitted against the wall, thus one person had to climb over the other to use the toilet. The third bed was a put up bed, the put up bed had to be wedged in between the foot of the main bed and the counter carrying the tv, if it went in any other place it was not possible to use the toilet. A lot of black mould around the bath and the hair dryer didn't work. We had a meal my wife had a cheese platter which they were not able to provide at the same time as the hot meals. I had a chicken fillet which was warm at one end and ice cold at the other, it was obviously incorrectly warmed from frozen in a microwave, I complained to the waitress as soon as I noticed but nothing happened, I then spoke to the manager who informed me that it was my fault for not eating it fast enough.

Nothing out of the ordinary, and appeared to be grubby although it was very clean and well stocked, it was just the dated feel of the room. The area was industrial, but no noise in the evening, unexpectedly this provided a good number of places to choose to eat without having to try to discover the town centre after a long drive. Supermarket within a minutes drive also, with cheap petrol station. The hotel does have a restaurant on site with a good selection of food available on the menu at avergae prices, although I did not choose to eat there, it appeared clean and pleasant. A decent place to stay, dated but ideal for one night if passing through on the way to elsewhere. I wouldnt wish to stay for more than a night.
