Clean, comfortable, well appointed and spacious. A last minute booking as travelling out of Logan next day. Staff were friendly and efficient too. Very quiet and comfy bed- even a coffee machine. Good value

Always love staying at the Wylie as I have a student athlete there. Friends and family is only good if you book way in advance. Know your schedule!

The room was a little small and we had trouble checking in at 11:00 pm -- the door bell wasn't answered. We did call the hotel and someone came to let us in.
We didn't realize that it was a pretty good distance from Boston so we got a hotel in Boston for our final night.

Always love staying at the Wylie as I have a student athlete there. Friends and family is only good if you book way in advance. Know your schedule!
No microwave in the room is a major bummer.

The grounds of the hotel were absolutely gorgeous, and the room was spotless. The staff were very polite and had answers to every question we asked. They also responded quickly to our requests. We had the most basic room type, and for two people, it was appropriately sized with a good amount of storage for our things. It does only have a shower, no bath tub. The only complaint I had is that the bed was extremely firm; we had to ask for additional pillows and blankets to try to pad it out. The location of the hotel itself is also a boon. It's only a short Uber ride to reach public transportation, and if you choose to take the walk to the station, there's plenty of shops and restaurants to look into.

It was a little hard to find not being familiar with the area. Also the room was a LOT smaller than I thought from the pictures. I was a little disappointed that the lounge and breakfast/dining area was not operational. That was a nice feature I thought.
Staff were very friendly and helpful though and I enjoyed the exercise and business facilities.

Staff was incredibly kind and room was clean and well maintained. The rooms were cleaned daily. The shower was hot and had a nice pressure. The whole building is so beautiful and a nice sight to drive up to every day. Nice to get to walk down to the beach.

Clean and quiet little hotel about 10 minutes outside of Salem. Very reasonable rates. Rooms are on the smaller side but not too bad. Staff was very friendly. No Restaurants within walking distance, hotel has a one open on the weekends only. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Salem during the spooky season.

It seemed false by the pictures that are posted on Hotels.com. Then it stunk like dirty feet. Rooms were really small.

We stayed here for a wedding in nearby Marblehead. It worked out very well for us. The immediate surroundings and the Endicott University campus are beautiful. Classic coastal New England

This is a great place,away from busy salem,but close to everything within 30 mins, we will come back next year for sure!! Its quiet, clean, comfortable bed, no breakfest for now but thats back later They say.

Hotel fine. Clean and no complaints. Little disappointed in the “beautiful grounds” that everyone seems to talk about. Trail to water was flooded about halfway down (no fault of the hotel obviously) but desk clerk said it’s like that more often than not. Not walking distance to any kind of food or drink. Overall very nice place tho and good customer service at check in and with any questions.

When the rates are to my liking and the time is right, the Wylie is a very peaceful, reliable choice. On check in, the young lady that helped me, Sydney and Chris, all really did a nice job. I recommend the Wylie For a consistently good Beverly or Salem visit
*It's a plus they decided to install their microwave in the lobby, a cple yrs back!

The room had a mildew odor that seemed to be coming from the shower curtain. Also the coffee maker didn’t work and the market area only had expired milk.
