I had a hard time getting into my room initially, the key just would not work. They moved me to a suite, but I was so frustrated that when the guy came to move me up to the 3rd floor, by the time I gathered all of my belongings, he was gone. I feel he should have helped me take my luggage upstairs, since it was their key that didn't work. I had a time carrying everything upstairs with no luggage rack and no assistance. by the time I got to the room, I was totally exhausted.
Other than that I had a very pleasant stay from there on out.

I always hated those curtains right over the air conditioner that was hard to keep together when the air or heat was blowing. Plenty of space and plug ins for all your devices. When leaving one of the workers was cleaning in the hallway and when he saw me struggling with the luggage rack, he stopped what he was doing to help me. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and pleasant and helpful. Great place to stay and I will stay there again.

Room was generally spacious and clean except for the toilet. Breakfast area seating were limited during rush hours due to the large chair sizes and bar stool arrangements, not convenient for families. Breakfast has a lot more greasy than healthier choices.

Staff was pleasant and welcoming, hotel smelled like it had been cleaned but had obvious spots that were extremely worn/dirty.

Our stay at the property was good just a couple of things that needs work. The light from thenpool came out i n the pool while we were swimming. The bathroom could have definitely been cleaned better.

Very good stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. Having coffee available all day was a big plus.

Hotel was a nice stay for one night! Clean room and friendly staff. We requested a crib for the night but didn’t get one in the room. It was already late when we checked in so I didn’t bother asking for one. Hotel breakfast was fine and then we were on our way!

Our stay served our purpose as a stop on our way to OBX. Stay here yearly but still has the slight smell - mildew? Breakfast amenities ok but were out of many things like cereal, toast, etc. staff are super friendly and used the gym as we were in the car all day. Restaurants nearby. Quick check in and check out!

This hotel has an old shell but renovated furniture so, you can see where they place new baseboards in the bathroom but the caulking is missing and the faucets are rusted and are outdated. The tv stand and connecting dresser looks very nice, but the carpet is old. When you enter the room, it has a damp feeling to it. You can definitely smell the carpet. The front desk is very nice and so are the attendants during breakfast. There is a good option for breakfast, which our family loved. The hotel needs major renovations - everywhere you looked it seemed a door is ajar, a chair is broken, or a sign is curled in the corners. I didn't like that the cleaning room doors are always open - you can see everything in there. This room needs to be kept out of sight. I would definitely stay if you're just popping in for the night, but not for long stays at all.

I Have NO complaints, hotel was convenient to Cape Charles and Pickett's Harbor Farms.
Close to Walmart. I got to get my morning walk on while i was there I'm an outdoor girl. Cousins enjoyed the pool. I will definitely stay at tbis hotel again.
