Sadly, this place is in need of some maintenance and attention. The sheets were stained, the mattresses were lumpy and the springs squeaked. The toilet kept running and the bathroom faucet was so loose it was difficult to turn off.

The only thing would be to put more towels in a room that has 3 guests. One towel was there when we checked in.

We had breakfast which was pretty good. Also, said the gym and the pool - everything was nice and clean . Staff were very accommodating.

Stains, smells, and sounds. Changed rooms twice Dirty bathroom and mildew smells in the 1st. 2nd had a terrible sewage smell. The 3rd was better, but the ceiling had water damage and mold.
Walls have zero soundproofing so heard normal conversations in ajoining rooms and the hallway.
Housekeeping was incomplete both days with random items replenished without touching the bed. Not a big deal, but odd not to make the bed.
Carpet in common areas and hallways were badly stained. Staff was very nice.

We stayed for a family reunion and really enjoyed the facilities, the extra friendly staff and service. Great hotel to stay for a weekend on the north shore of Chicago. We'd definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an absolutely perfect area and the staff are super nice and everything is clean, but the water did not work properly at the sink or in the shower resulting in the water being way too hot and not easily controlled. I’m sure this has been reported to the hotel, but it does not seem that action was taken. The beds were a bit too soft. The location is perfect and it’s nice that there is a bar downstairs. Everything you could possibly want is within three blocks.

The bed mattress was springy and made noise. It was slightly uncomfortable. And carpet had a slight unpleasant smell near the bed. The room was nice otherwise.

It was relatively quiet, receptionist (Kladia) gave a warm welcome. The bathroom had strains of hair on the edge of shower area, there was no refrigerator (even a tabletop model?), no microwave. I would have preferred individual body wash, lotion & shampoo, etc. The furniture good quality. The only thing missing refrigerator & microwave would make the stay more appealing had to go downstairs to the lobby to warm food up. Otherwise the stay was ok.

It was very nice in the deluxe king room. There was a desk for doing work on my laptop, and a soft bench. I enjoyed the minimalist decor and big shower.
