Very well operated hotel, staff was courteous and attentive. Restaurant served a variety of local foods and a well appointed breakfast buffet. Although the hotel is old, it is well maintained and in a really nice location when visiting Ilheus. Parking is limited and challenging during peak occupancy. I will stay in this hotel on my return to Ilheus.

This hotel is a bit old but kept in good shape. We chose it because of the closeness to the airport which is about 5 -7 min away. Breakfast was OK with fresh fruits, coffe, bread and so on. Many sweets, but I guess that's common in Brazil. The room was clean and even though the hotel is located next to a bigger road this didn't bother us. To be fair it is also right by the ocean. The shower was leaking out on the bathroomfloor but otherwise ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only thing I would complain about is that the safteybox had no lock. Also, no need to try the restaurants pasta - tasteless, stick with the local food. When we checked out they tried to bill us for the stay even though we already paid through hotels.com, but there was no problem one we pointed that out. All in all, a nice stay and perfect if you have an early flight.
