Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Very clean and beds were comfy. My daughter got sick while we were there, after Dr hours, and the owner called the local pharmacy and helped us with some homeopathic remedies to help. They called a taxi for us in the morning, and were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was amazing, as was the restaurant. Delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel if staying in the area, it was top notch.

it was goood! the parking is a problem in later hours, as well as the noise from the street (which is too narrow), otherwise clean and nice

A special hotel with modern conveniences in the middle of an old town. This is a family owned hotel with genuine friendliness. The restaurant had excellent food of the area.

Property and rooms were great. Staff friendly. Breakfast very well laid out. Convenient location for shops, food and bars.
Lovely little village and the Blautopf has to be worth the 5 minute walk.
Only downside - I am sure Europe regulations had stopped smoking inside bars. The hotel bar was thick with smoke and people were lighting up constantly. Reminded me of Germany in the 90s.

Have stayed there a couple of times per year and the service is great. Stayed in the new part of the Hotel which was very nice .Breakfast was always great,management is very friendly and accommodating.Parking is a little tight but no problem.

No freezer, but thé folks at the bar gladly gave us ice for our trip before we left. The crowning glory of this stop though, was the included breakfast...just an astonishingly large variety of choices including fruit, yogurts, cereals, many breads, meats, cheeses, coffes, juices...

Great breakfast was included the next morning...good coffee- typical euro bfast of meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fresh brotchen, fruits, cereal. Does smell a little smoky on the 1st floor. Rooms are REALLY nice. Nice linens, plenty of towels.

We ate diner in the retaurant. This was oke, not the best we ever ate, but certainly good enough.
Breakfast is very good. More than enough choice en fresh food.
Check in and check out went very quick, we love that.

Good for the price, clean comfortable bed. There were no privacy curtains and I would have appreciated being able to close the shades.

The traditional hotel facade is a front to a modern interior that is exceptional in the facility provided. The hotel is family owned and run with the assistance of very pleasant and competent staff. The bar and restaurant are comfortable and offer a good range of food and drinks. Rooms are well furnished and clean. .
