We checked in and discovered there would be no breakfast because “we didn’t choose that package”; however, that option was not provided, but ok. We went out to eat and came back about 9pm to discover our room key pad was damaged, but worked (we hadn’t gone up at check in, just out to eat) and the door was dirty (I have pics). Still it worked and the inside locks worked and since we hadn’t planned on leaving we were ok with it. We get inside and the desk chair arms are extremely tattered. We asked about buying bottled water, but they had none because the delivery truck hadn't arrived. Plus, the vending machines were all sold out. Then, the remote only controlled the on/off, and volume. So no TV! This was about 10pm so we didn’t bother with trying to get someone to fix it. They weren’t helpful with the drinks so why would they care about the TV. Finally, as we were packing to leave I discover a used disposable laundry bag in the closet. When we checked out I tried reporting the issues but the clerk said “Yeah, we know and we are working on this problems. Like I know these aren’t huge deals, but we got the impression that our room was on hotels.com as a “discounted rate due to damage.” The issue is that we could’ve (and will going forward) stayed somewhere else. We presumed that as an upper scale Hilton family hotel that it would’ve been a treat but instead we were terribly disappointed.

The service from management sucked. I told her about the situation and she said she can only offer me snacks from behind the counter. Very bad whoever the foreign woman was. The shower area wasn’t clean (I have photos) there was a leak in the shower area water came out on floor badly I had to use all the towels to clean up the water. The shower surface was dirty. Look like mold in the corner. I was so upset until I didn’t shower because of the unclean area. My family showered but I took a bird bath from the sink.

Carpeting in the room didnt appear clean, the furniture was dated and damaged and the shower door wouldnt close. When i told the employee at the desk her response was "I know but we are working on getting things fixed". So basically they know that there are rooms that are not up to Hilton standards but care more about making money than giving guests what they are paying for.

The room was okay, had a weird smell and the pillows were not comfortable. The hotel was very hot, in the lobby, the hallways and elevator. The breakfast was not open like it says on the website. I would not stay here again.

Very clean, comfy beds , excellent staff. Room did not have black out curtains and ice machine on second floor did not work. Room was super cold, we loved that. Lobby was very warm.

The hotel room was not a $200 a night room. When I walked in there was a pillowcase on top of the TV. I don't know if it was dirty, and the hotel staff left it in the room or if it was clean and not put on the bed. Floor was not clean. There were no towels in the room, and I didn't shower until late, so I had to call downstairs late to request some and then told I had to walk down there to get them. I had to leave kids in the room because of the time it was. That's unacceptable. I won't be staying there again especially when there are so many options in the area.

Hotel was fine. However, the bar/restaurant apparently are closed on the weekends. This needs to be disclosed as I would not have stayed here knowing this as I didn’t have power following a storm and just wanted to relax with dinner and a glass of wine.

The staff was welcoming , helpful, friendly and caring. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I’m ever in the area again in the future

My stay at this location was just okay. The front desk clerk was very helpful, as well as our server during breakfast. The room was just plain and the pillows where so flat and uncomfortable.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Jackson/Flowood
118 Laurel Park Cove, Flowood, MS, 39232 on Thursday October 12th - Sunday October 15th. On Thursday about 15 minutes after I checked into my room, I called down to the from desk because the refrigerator was not coming on. Upon further inspection I saw that it was unplugged. As I tried to plug it back up water started leaking from it. I also saw how dirty and nasty it was. I explained this to the young man and he came right up. He said that he was the only one on duty and said that I’d have to wipe up the water because house keeping was gone for your night. He said that he would leave at note for the manager to call Mr the next morning which would have been Friday 10/13. I cleaned the water up and he plugged the refrigerator up however, I didn’t use it because it was nasty and had mold it in. The next morning I went down for breakfast around 6:15 and asked to speak with the manager. I was told that she wasn’t in yet but would call me call me when she got in later. The lady also said that house keeping would be up to clean the refrigerator. I advised that I put my “do not disturb” sign on the door because I funky like people in my room while I’m out. The lady at the from said that’ll be ok and they would find while I’m in my room. I waited in my room for about 4 hours that morning no one came and the manger didn’t call.I left and stopped at the from desk yet again.

118 Laurel Park Cove, Flowood, MS, 39232 on Thursday October 12th - Sunday October 15th.
