I love staying here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located for transport connections and the lakeside. The hotel itself is very clean and pleasant inside and has recently had some attractrive internal rennovations including air conditioning to all rooms and key card access doors. My stay this time coincided with the Luci e Ombre festival and from my balcony I had the best posssible view of the fireworks on the lake on the final day.

Great location 10 minutes walk from city center and on the waterfront. Considering the heat a minifridge/bar would have been great. The view at Lago Maggiore was amazing from our room, and was as good as you'd imagine. Old fashioned waterfront hotel. Parking is scarce in Locarno and the hotel did not heavily advertise how to park.

There was a construction right next to it, so it was a bit loud. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, we were able to sit outside and got to enjoy the great buffet they had. The location is perfect, as it is right by the lake.

Close to Locarno downtown. It was a 10-15’ walk to piazza grande for moon & stars festival. No airconditioning but strong fan available. 5’ walk to trainstation and right opposite the lake.

Great location — in front of Lake Maggiore. Easy walk to funicular to Madonna di Sasso; Piazza Grande; and beautiful walk along waterfront. Good restaurants nearby.

Great location on the lake, lots of trees. My room had a balcony overlooking the lake. Loud festival was going on this weekend but I slept well thanks to good, tight balcony door. I only wish they'd keep the birds out of the dining room. I returned to my table to find a little one nibbling the cheese on my plate.

Locarno is a beautiful place and the hotel is situated right by the lake with very easy access to all the local amenities. This is a family run hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for two nights en route to Italy but you could easily stay longer as this is a very beautiful destination in its own right

This is a tourist class hotel with an excellent location right next to the lake promenade. I got a nice, big room with its own balcony. It was facing the back, which was probably just as well to avoid noice from the street. Nice breakfast with possibility to eat outside. Free 24-hour coffee/tea facilities in the breakfast room. Very friendly and efficient staff. Warm welcome by an extremely friendly Danish guy. After check-out, I wanted to use the gym, and they allowed me to use the shower of my room even though it was late in the afternoon. Highly recommendable.
